I haven't been to Olive Garden at Fairlakes in Fairfax, Va for 15plus yrs. The final time I was there it was obvious the food was not fresh but frozen! Awful dinners. I wouldn't continue to spend good money on the bad food there. Not only was it awful, its unhealthy.

Olive Garden offers decent Italian cuisine with reasonable prices, ample portions, and complimentary salad and bread with free refills. It surpasses many expensive, high-profile Italian restaurants in quality and value.

The service is terrible wait staff didn’t understand what I was saying (language barrier) instead of bringing all the of our dishes together my husband had to wait 15 minutes while we ate to get his food. Manager came out and asked every table around us if they were enjoying there food but not us. Carbonara was bland and the lemonade’s were terrible and warm. Not to mention when we arrived at our first table it was dirty. Fire the manager and train your wait staff ( English) Joe to wait tables.
Updated Feb 11, 2024 - please look over your bill carefully! I am not sure what happened, but my order (sauce separated) was not carried out. So the waitress went back and placed the order again. It took above 15 minutes and my spouse has finished his meal. We asked for the leftovers to be packed up; the waitress somehow managed to dump several pieces on the table, instead of in the container! We check out on the device on the table, only to find that we are charged twice the dish they "forgot" to put the sauce on the side. Asked waitress about it, and she said the manager "forgot" to comp it. Why does it need to be comped? It was a mistake by the staff and should have never been on the bill. (Comped? Why?). So check your bill carefully!

Not exceptional but still very good for Italian dishes. My only complaint is once when I brought my mom here in 2022, our server made a fat joke at my 80 year old mom's expense to impress his friends in the nearby booth, who were also rude. So unprofessional. We requested a new server and it doesn't appear he's there anymore. Good riddance. My waitress this time around was very good at her job. I'm pleased.?

I wish they would put more salad dressing on salad. It was a little dry. Soup was good, tried the chicken gnocci and pasta fagioli, the latter having a small kick of spice which was nice.
The waiter was awesome he got a lot orders correct he brought out to go bags and boxes but not enough I had to ask another five times for a bag so I just got one on the way out but who was delicious as
