I love this place. We come here one to two times a year and they never disappoint. The food and experience are top shelf.

I hope people are not just reading the 5 star reviews of this place, they are working so much harder to earn all the other stars aside from the "5"!

They are very efficient with where they tell customers to sit so they can maximize their tips, so smart!

Truly terrible. I was so disappointed. I've eaten in this restaurant numerous times. Even had delivery some time ago. But when I order filet and shrimp teppanyaki, I expect meat, shrimp, both cooked to order, and a lot of vegetables. Instead I got very little meat and shrimp, both overcooked, no vegetables, and a carb fest of rice and noodles. When I called the restaurant to complain they blew me off and refused a refund. I will never order from this place again. But if you are fine paying $55 for a pile of noodles, for one, and enjoy terrible customer service, you'll be happy there.

The woman in red who served us tonight really showed us what kind of people serve your table, they deserve this rating 110%! Move to the side!!

This review is for the sushi side of the restaurant. The sushi has always been fresh and super flavorful, been here a couple times over the past couple years. My mom loves their lychee martini. The dragon roll is the best! Super quiet and quick for an early Wednesday dinner, everything was lovely. The server is very sweet and efficient. The birthday cupcake was a really sweet touch, thank you!

best restaurant i've ever been to staff is incredible and i've been coming here for about 10 years or more!Vegetarian options: they have veggie plates and sushi rolls that are vegDietary restrictions: they don't use any peanut oil! and have Gluten free soy sauce and if you have a gluten allergy they can cook your stuff separately due to the gluten in soy sauce!Parking: lots of spots and it's free!Kid-friendliness: Lot of kids and safe as long as your kid behaves well

Fun teppanyaki house. I enjoyed the smaller table setting vs the large group table. It made it feel more intimate to my family. Our chef Bubba, was clever and witty and we had a laugh how he was teasing my son, who was celebrating his birthday. He did all the tricks, egg catch, volcano, fast vegetable chopping, flinging some chicken pieces for us to catch, spice shaker flipping; it was allot of fun. The food was very delicious and the portions were more then expected. Meals run around $25 and entrees are about $35. Drink pricing was average for an entertainment style Japanese house. The place has several tables and all were full so if dining with a large group, a reservation would be receommended.Parking: Plenty of parkingKid-friendliness: High chairs available and just the atmosphere keeps children entertained

This was my first time visiting this location, and I have to say the portions are the smallest here for what you are paying. I usually go to the Sakura in the Maryland locations, and I have to say the portions here at the Fairfax location is the smallest for what you are paying. I will not be returning here.
