Came here Sunday for a late lunch—we didn’t have reservations but luckily they had a table available for 3 ppl, and even space at the bar. The restaurant decor is so cute inside!Food was delicious! Recommend the Roti Canai, Papaya Salad and Tom Yum Soup for starters, and for entrees, the Pad See Eiw with Beef, Hainanese Chicken and Massaman Curry. The Singapore Chili Crab ($85 for Whole Dungeness Crab) was good—huge portion with lots of meat, but I felt the sauce was a bit overloaded with too much tomato, like ketchup flavor. For dessert, our server brought out a slice of the Pandan Castella Cake with a candle since we were celebrating a birthday! Cocktails were great, we got two rounds each—loved my Lychee Martini and the others enjoyed their Papaya Mule and Chrysanthemum Highball.Service was great here—food came out fairly quick and our server Madi was super cool and very attentive. Will definitely come back to try more of their dishes!

have dined there twice and each time it was excellent--going with several people gives you the opportunity to try different dishes--a definite plus--the only drawback to dining there is the difficulty of parking--for older people having no handicap parking or any parking close by can be difficult but for younger people it will be a breeze--make an effort--it is worth it!Parking: you take your chances at Dunkin donuts and in the parking lot for the apartment scout--both of these are the closest ---there is parking down the street at giant and a very few spaces on the streetWheelchair accessibility: there isn't any

We dined here a couple of times and love the food and the service. There are good vegetarian options and we enjoyed the pineapple fried rice and panag curry the most. The desserts, especially the biscoff cheesecake by the chef's wife were amazing. The service and ambience of the place is great too. We enjoyed it more on a weekday than on the weekend when it was very busy. Certainly recommend and we will be back!Vegetarian options: Pad Thai, roti, curries, fried rice, mango sticky rice

Visited on a Friday evening based on a friend’s recommendation & had a great meal! All dishes were savory, and presented beautifully with good service.Highly recommend all of the dishes we tried:- Pineapple fried rice,- Nasi goreng (savory fried rice w/ fried egg and protein),- Drunken noodles (spicy flat noodles w/ choice of protein), and- Pad see eiw (similar to drunken noodles but less spicy)

I made the mistake of not making a reservation here for dinner on a Saturday night. Even so, the hostesses were kind enough to fit us in at the bar. There was still full service and we got to watch the bartenders make beautiful cocktails. We wanted to try everything on the menu. Started with the pie tee, I ordered the Nasi Lemak with Beef Rendang while my fiancé ordered the Curry Laksa noodles, and we finished with some pandan crème brûlée and coconut ice cream. Overall very filling, amazing quality of food and service, and definitely lived up to their name of making a good (Southeast) Impression.

Came here for dinner with the family and got a huge assortment of dishes. Started off with their Calamari and the Chicken and Beef Satay. For our entrees we got their famous Singapore Chili Softshell Crab, Pineapple Fried Rice, Drunken Noodle, Mee Goreng, Nasi Goreng, Pork Fried Rice, and the Duck Curry. Overall the food was really good. Most of the rice dishes were alright, but the noodles dishes were amazing! A must get here is the Chili Crab; little bit sweet and spicy with the perfectly fried soft shell crab. Service was friendly and the place was nice inside.

We were excited to try out this restaurant. A little beyond disappointed that the food quality was not up to par. We had the chicken and beef satay and it tasted like it was boiled and not grilled. The flavor was not good at all. Very disappointed. The chicken pad Thai was just okay. The soft shell crab was good except the flavor of the sauce was not good in flavor. The nasi goreng is a fried rice with an egg on top which was just okay again. Nothing exceptional here. Very surprised they require a credit card to place a reservation at this restaurant. They should remove that requirement or else they won't get that many customers if the quality of the food is just average.

Initially skeptical of how well one restaurant can churn out authentic and delicious dishes from an entire region of the globe, all of our doubts were put to rest as soon as the first appetizer came out and we came away totally converted into regulars. We started out with the pie tee (crabmeat-filled crispy shells) as our appetizer, followed up with beef rendang and kway teow tom yum as the mains. The quality was consistently top-notch. The beef rendang was so tender - even the thickest pieces of meat were fall-apart tender, moist, and flavorful. The kway teow tom yum was slightly tart but with a deep, rich flavor that we'd never experienced before - it's our new favorite soup. Finally, we could not stop raving about the service Gina L. provided us - she's the best server we can ever remember having. She made sure every detail was taken care of before we even thought of it, from bringing and explaining the spice rack, bringing extra bowls and spoons so we could share the entrees (before we even asked), and just being very friendly and welcoming all around. We are adding Southeast Impression to our shortlist of top places to dine in the DC area.Parking: As others have mentioned, it's easiest to park in the garage near the Giant and just walk around the corner/down the street. Even though we were there on a busy Saturday evening, as soon as we went up to the second level of the garage, it was all wide open.

Very nice interior and the food was delicious. The service was great. We were seated at the bar right away when we went in without reservation on a Friday night dinner rush. Roti canai was yum (you have to ask for chicken curry instead of dal). Singaporean noodles and hainanese chicken were also delicious. Chicken seemed a little too pricey for my liking. But overall great experience. Would definitely recommend.
