I always skip this place in favor of DC Sandwich, and only went in today because there was a bunch of road blockage on Graham Road, and I couldn't be bothered to wait. I feel like giving three stars is even a bit generous. If you've had good bahn mi, you can't ever go back to substandard bahn mi. It seemed lazy. All meat to one side, not very tasty, and seemed totally incorrect, bread was all soft, kind of underdressed. Mom told me to give it a try, but I should have trusted my own gut. I'm sure I must have been here before, otherwise I wouldn't be so adamant about not going in. Better options out there.

I enjoyed the roast pork banh mi; my son had beef; my hubby had veggie. We were all pleased with our Vietnamese sandwiches. The shop is small and we sat outside at one of their tables. It was pleasant and I would return.
Love that they open early for breakfast, and have such a great variety of prepared food and also savory or sweet snacks!

Ordered a red roasted pork bahn mi and the pork wasnt roasted at all in fact it was severely undercooked or not cooked at all. Just terrible ?.

The normal place I go to for Bahn Mi was closed and Ba Le was open late. I found it on Google Maps. The service at Ba Le was excellent. It was my first time so I ordered a few things. The spring roll was great and the shrimp bahn mi was amazing. I also got grilled pork banh mi, grilled beef bahn mi and a stake banh mi. Taste is TBD. And a taro smoothie.

I have been coming here for about 25 years. It’s changed a lot since then, and my visit today rekindled my love for the place. It’s so clean, well-stocked, and even better that I remember. Today’s banh mi and eggrolls were delicious.
