We had the best bday meal at this restaurant! The filet Mignon is on point and for our bday they offered us an extra macron! Must try the tartar as well because it's so delicious! They are very attentive to us, always ask if we need anything and pay attention to the details. Thank you! It was an awesome experience overall. 5/5.

I went to the Safeway. First, this older oriental lady at the deli refused to cut me some provolone cheese smoke flavor. I have bought this at all safeway and I paid 4.99 a pound. It's not the real smoked flavor but my family really likes the taste better than regular provolone cheese. The lady actually refused to cut a pound for me. It was new in the glass of the deli. She said we have some that was cut this morning. She took me over to a section near the salad bar. I explained that the one cheese I want is different than the one that was already been sitting there. First, I explained that I wanted something fresh. Then I explained again that it was different. She started yelling at me and she said Im not going to cut you any fresh. I said ok, I'm gonna tell your manager. I went to customer service to ask for a manager and they said she's gone. So I go to self checkout and the deli lady comes running out and says see this is the same. I said well regardless, I want the other one thats smoked flavor. The regular is 6.99 a pound and the one I want is 4.99 a pound. I'm at self checkout and the water wasn't ringing up properly. A message came check weight so this blonde female came over and had no mask or gloves and was coughing on me. I was in shock. The next morning approximately 300am, I woke up with a fever and headache and sore throat. At that point, I said maybe I should call the Safeway on 6110 Arlington Blvd, Falls Church, Virginia. I called and I asked for the store manager. I explained what had happen and she said ok. We sent her home for being sick a few days ago and we check out our employees every day. So go to this safeway is you won't to be coughed on and to receive poor service at the deli. I will not go there ever again. There is a new Giant two blocks away so I will go there next week. I pray she doesn't have the virus.

With most grocery stores wiped clean in the coronavirus panic, this store was one of the few that was nearly fully stocked. A huge thank you to the staff working tirelessly to keep food on the shelves early this morning!

And it has gone from bad to worse. Today, one checker with all other lanes closed. And that one checker also had to leave her station every time anyone donated to the food bank and go make the announcement. Again, no one was there to help at the self check out (if you bought wine, you have to have a cashier override) and when a customer came to the cashier (just one, remember) to ask for help she was told to go to the help desk and ask for a manager. Another check lane finally opened after lthe lines were so long. So badly managed, so badly run. Take the time to move up the road to the Giant, or head to McLean where they know how to run their 2 Safeways.

Continuously find old out dated produce, fruits, vegetables at Safeway at Seven Corners off Arlington Boulevard and Williston. Today takes the cake though. Bought $100 dollars + in groceries only to have the plastic containers roll out of the grocery bags opening and sPilling out on my leather car seats. 2 lbs of turkey salad and 1 lb of cranberry jelly. The lids at thIs safeWay don't fit. Even when they appear to be fastened, they are not. Just pathetic they think they can provide below average service and stay in business. Called them when I got home. Asked for the store Mgr. Can tell they don't like these calls because first their transPortatikn mgr wanted tO talk. Asked fiR the store manager countless times. Last person I spoke to said "she's out till Monday". When I asked the name of the mgr, the gal grew nervous, fiddling, said "Kathy". Hung up. Abject uselessness. AVOID SEVEN CORNERS SAFEWAY LIKE YIU WOUKD AVOID ANY SICKNESS.

Exceptional and delightful food, I love the mood the place has, and the cashiers were helpful. Will surely visit here when I’m around.

How does this store remain in business? 7:15 pm, meat case is empty, deli salad bar has no carryout trays or spoons or ladles. Front end is poorly staffed. They should be paying customers for the inconvenience.

As a recent transplant to Northern VA, things natives take for granted I find weird. Terrible traffic and the lack-luster behavior passing as customer service. My Safeway (yes--Mine...'cause I like it), has friendly employees. Not creepy 'too nice' robot people, but the real kind of attentive employees. The woman at the checkout who teases me about how much ice-cream I take home in one trip. The employees who know I can never remember the difference between hot peppers: they explain it to me at least three times a month. Yeah, the produce is fresh, the meat is prime and well priced. Oh, and their sour dough round loafs are excellent...just sayin. So, their goods are typical Northern VA fair: excellent quality and a touch more expensive than I'm used to, (but no more expensive than any other grocery I've been too). But I like Safeway (yes, because it's close to my house), but also because I feel like the employees see me. In an area with too many crazy drivers and frustrated fellow customers, being seen is no small thing.

I was in town on business and wanted a quick meal within walking distance. The Peruvian grilled chicken was so good, I went back the following evening. This is definitely an ethnic, family oriented restaurant. Both nights that I went there, the line to get in was all the way out the front door. The smell of grilling chicken from the parking lot is enough to make your mouth water. There are huge banks of charcoal fed ovens with literally dozens of chickens being grilled on the rotisserie. Although there is a sizable eat-in dining area there appears to be there appears to be a brisk takeout business as well. There were a large number of customers there with their families. Everyone looked to be in a good mood! I ordered the whole grilled chicken, with salad and rice. Very simply prepared, but flavorful and done … just right. It was so good, I went back the next night. A complete takeout meal was $16.95. Good value I'd say. Although charcoal grilled chicken is their central theme, they also offer grilled steaks and hamburgers, which look good as well. When you're in Alexandria, VA, give this place some serious consideration. It is reasonably priced, the food is delicious and the staff friendly, helpful and courteous.

I think this store has actually taken steps to improve since my last review. It looks much cleaner, smells better, and the stock is improved. I'm also improving my rating because the selection of international/regional foods is quite good here, so I can find items that the Target in the same shopping center doesn't carry. For example, there's a whole "Southern food" section with lots of Cajun spices and mixes. Still not my favorite store by a long shot, but I am happy to see changes being made for the better. The seafood section looks sort of sad, but the meats seem better. They have fewer funky looking, reduced, quick sale items, and the packaging seems less likely to spill. Prices are somewhat competitive, but some items seem sort of high. I don't shop for home health items here because I'd rather just go to Target or the Sally Beauty next door for that. And as in my first review - Starbucks still looks very sad. Skip it for the Dunkin Donuts across the parking lot! (Or Starbucks in Target.)

Great, inexpensive food, and hands down the best chicken sandwich I have ever had. There is absolutely nothing elaborate about, it's just perfectly cooked chicken with the right complements. Don't forget to try their sauces. They aren't required, but they do add a tasty kick.

I'm done. DONE! With this Safeway location and all Safeway locations! It is unacceptable to rest on your laurels if you will. Meaning, just because you're so well located, doesn't mean you can run your store like junk and have an entire neighborhood and community forced to shop with you. You don't have a monopoly and you offer nothing to make me want to shop with you. I HATE that you are the closest grocery store to my house. But Instacart, here I come! This store is dirty, poorly stocked and full of THEE most unhappy, unhelpful, miserable and disgruntled employees ever. I've lived in the DC area for 7 years and I get that it's not a super happy place but customer service is not completely dead yet. So Safeway, I don't care if your bakery cookies are my favorite. I'd rather pay double for plain chips-a-hoy at the Giant down the road. We're breaking up. I'm dumping you.

Northern Virginia grocery stores are generally bad on a good day, but this Safeway is particularly subpar. The joy started when there were no carts to be found in the store, meaning a trek back into the parking lot to find one. On a weekend day, the produce was poorly stocked; when I went to grab for a peach, a dozen fruit flies flew away. Gross! The corn shucking bucket was overflowing onto the ground, and in general, the store just seemed messy. After standing in a long, slow-moving line, I was shocked to find a grocery bagger in my line, but she had no clue how to balance the weight of grocery bags, so I had to re-bag them. Finally, the location near Seven Corners makes it difficult to turn onto the road the way you want to, so overall, this is not a store I would choose to shop at.

If you want to experience ethnic food, this is the place. Possibly the best chicken our family had ever had. We were the only English speaking customers. Great experience for our kids. Yuca fries were yummy!
