Okay so I definitely enjoy eating at this restaurant because...baby...let me tell you...there cream of crab soup, the pork belly tacos, and blood orange vodka crush were AMAZING!!! Let's talk about the blood orange vodka crush first. I was not quite sure what to expect when I ordered it, but I was taken by surprise when the waiter returned with the can itself and a mason jar with ice in it (I LOVE mason jars). The waiter decided to surprise me even more by offering to pour it. I was not ready for that at all. Ultimately, I declined their offer and poured it myself; however, I had a sense of being in good hands by the offer itself. The crush was not overpowering and had a very nice flavor to it. It would be a good drink to order if you are just getting off work or want to relax with some friends or family...it's a "something slight" kind of drink. Please be mindful of the options as there are several. I recommend being mindful as some of the flavors sound so good that it is difficult to choose! The food...this is where it gets real. THAT CREAM OF CRAB SOUP WAS SOME OF THE BEST CREAM OF CRAB SOUP I HAVE EVER HAD WITH THE CRABMEAT ON TOP!!! I am originally from the Eastern Shore where cream of crab soup is well known, although taste varies from creator to creator. The amount of enjoyment I received from this dish feels indescribable. I thoroughly enjoyed the crabmeat on top and the flavors blending in so well. This soup was so good that I considered ordering it several more times! It was a decent size for an appetizer serving, but I am going to need the size of that bowl to increase because it is so delicious! It's like you can't get enough! This was what I thought until my pork belly tacos arrived. Um...as you can see...I took a picture of the tacos AFTER I was about one taco in haha! The pork belly was crispy and had some fatty pieces (which I love about pork belly) topped with some slaw and onion. Although I am not a fan of onions or slaw, I at-least tried it with the slaw. To my surprise, I was not bothered by it at all! It added great flavor to each taco (3 in total). If I were to go back tomorrow, I would likely order them again...or maybe togo after I have like three servings of the cream and crab soup. Whew, that would be a hard decision! The service was great! Both waiters were super nice and the main waiter checked in often which was greatly appreciated. However, I took one star off after being seated for quite a while without being given a menu and watching waiters walk past me multiple times. Overal experience: I would definitely return! It would be difficult to try other items on the menu because what I ordered was so good, but I am willing to take on the challenge!

After an initial bad experience I've really come to like this place. I am right now enjoying an excellent burger, cooked exactly how I asked, and am sad that it is closing next month.

Why is it closing? This is the perfect location. Dogfish will be sorely missed in the neighborhood.

The food was excellent. We went for lunch and had the fish and chips and the chicken, shrimp and bacon salad and they were both delicious. I was not as pleased with the Hazy-O as I thought I would be but the 75 (which they mix the 60 minute and the 90minute) was great. We will return with the kiddo so she can have the burger.

Always great food, and service! We love their burgers, and even takeout didn't disappoint.

Good beer but soggy fries which ruin the whole burger experience. Tried to order a Dogfish gin & tonic but was told they were out of all the Dogfish liquors. Guess I just expected more.

Wonderful Experience, food and service! Was in the area to get cakes, and my friend and I decided to stop in quite literally knowing nothing about the place or menu. We just decided to take a chance. Cassie was our server and she was nothing short of phenomenal. Had great menu suggestions, did great being timely, and even dealing with the probably extra talkative southerner (me) that wound up in her section. The Jambalaya was fantastic, the Ahi tuna was another fantastic choice. I would heartily recommend the crab dip as well. Heck, just from the looks of it I'd suggest the Mac N Cheese with steak my buddy had. It is likely to be my misfortune to find a spot for great eats when traveling because I'm sadly unlikely to be in the area again. But if I am, I'll be stopping there again for sure.

Great chill atmosphere and very very good food. I had the fish & chips and they were hot and tasty! Their pumpkin ale and seasonal warm cider was perfect for the cold night and warmed my date up nicely. The waiting staff was kind and super helpful too! Great experience overall and I highly recommend Dogfish Head Alehouse!

We were staying at a nearby hotel, so we visited twice in one week. The food was excellent! The smoked brisket cheesesteak and some sort of Thai steak bowl (forgot the name) were great choices. The servers were all very friendly and efficient. The vibe was pretty chill, so it wasn't uncomfortable bringing children in. Definitely suggest if you're in the Seven Corners area.

We decided to try this location since we had not been here for several years although we been to other nearby locations. We were not disappointed. I started with their draft sampler flight of 6 beers. For entrees, we had the shrimp tacos and the brisket cheesesteak. Both entrees were great. I really like the cheesesteak. Marko was our server and was excellent. I'll be back.

I've passed Dogfish Head a million times but somehow never eaten here. I was pleasantly surprised with my recent experience. The process to online order was very easy. Food was ready quite quickly on a weekday afternoon. I walked in and was immediately pointed to an area for carry out food. It was a straightforward, smooth process. I tried a burger, Caesar salad, and crab pretzel. The first two dishes were good, though nothing super special. The burger was cooked exactly to my specifications. The crab pretzel was a treat--it's hard to find around this area. It came with the pretzel and the cheesy crab dip (and a mustard dip) on the side, not on top. As much as I'd have loved a steaming hot crab pretzel with the topping already on, I appreciate that Dogfish ahead packed it separately for carry out. It would have been a mess if packed together. The interior of the restaurant is nice. Lots of wood and sort of a sports bar feel. Obviously Dogfish Head is known for its beers. Once life is more back to normal, I look forward to dining in at this location.

We stumbled in this great pub. Service was quite good and the food was really good. The place has that great smell of smoking wood for the menu. Food was presented well and was quick to arrive. but of course better was that it was really good. Nice little find in Falls Church! Enjoy!!

Felt compelled to leave this review as a person who was wary of stopping at this location. The shopping center is outdated and from the outside you'd assume you have a 50/50 chance of good service. Listen: Go inside. Great atmosphere, plenty of seating, great service. I saw some previous reviews pertaining to cooked meat- I had a medium rare burger cooked to perfection, which I understand isn't common in general at a restaurant. Everything was clean, everyone very casual yet professional. I don't have any stake in the game for this establishment and this wasn't a suggested review, I feel like that needs to be said cause I even find myself on Yelp asking "Do you really feel that way? Or did they comp your food in exchange for a review?". People always reserve 5 star ratings for stingy reasons. For what this place is it's incredible and I'll be back
