The food is very homemade and delicious, the only thing we didn't like was the fried kidney, which wasn't fried at all.

Probably the most authentic Bolivia Restaurant I've been to in the US. Definitely resembles the true Bolivian culture environment and food.

January/ January 13, 2024:The food tax the restaurant charges is high, 10%!! Then because you use a card they add an additional cost of 2.5%. Besides that, they charge whatever they want the food. Sometimes $20 for the mixed other times $22 or $24. The soda cans are sometimes $1.40 and today for a can of soda $2.20. In the past I paid $2.8 each.I will report this restaurant to the county of Fairfax, Va. because they steal money and they don't care. I don't mind paying for what I eat but please don't steal me!!Not only that, they asked us, a party of 4, to move to a small table when they had another party of 2 on a bigger table, but they insisted it was supposed to be us they were moving around. Crazy. Then for the dish, pique macho, the big size is $18 n the small 14 but they said they don't have the small!!! Really?? Can you just make the bigger smaller!!????How Bolivians think they have a lot of money, they pay you...They look at the Bolivians' faces. Don't let yourself be robbed. It's hard to earn money here in the US.And finally the youngest waitress is brute by nature. He doesn't have the modesty to say, “Hey, my name is such, this is today's menu, or what are you going to have?”Ignorance and brutality together.I took out the account today and they scammed me $5!!! It doesn't seem fair to me.There are also cockroaches at the register... ?????Old review/ old review:The food is sometimes very delicious but other times it leaves a lot to be desired. The male pique is very juicy and the fries get all wet right away.Sometimes the cans are $1.40 and other times they are $2.80. I kept the receipts so I compared them but I'm embarrassed to tell them and I paid for the cans at $2.80.The peanut soup is delicious but the small bowl x $8.The bread they bring courtesy is delicious but increasingly smaller!! The truth is that everything is reduced, and you continue paying the same.Expensive but since they see Bolivians' faces, they abuse themselves.

Unfortunately the food was very bad. I order 3 charques very salty , two lenguas with not good taste and falso conejo. Please hire Bolivian employees to cook just for better taste. Urgently thanks.

I love coming to Fanny's Bolivian restaurant. Everyday home cooked food family owned business that makes you feel like you are eating at Grandma's house.

I was there for the first time today. This place, it’s tiny, the waitress has no idea what she is doing. I ordered my self Chairo and mocochinchi, by the way she never brought us the drinks. She was careless, rude and not professional at all. Definitely, not going back again.

I wanted to share my experience at this restaurant with all of you. Unfortunately, from the moment we arrived, the treatment we received was really bad. The waitress didn't even greet us and carelessly threw the menus on the table. When she returned, she seemed angry and abruptly asked us if we were ready to order, without even offering us anything to drink beforehand. We tried asking her some questions about the menu, but the waitress clearly had no idea about anything. Her attitude showed a lack of interest in helping customers and she seemed angry all the time. We asked for our orders and when they brought us the food, they again did so with a bad attitude. We felt so uncomfortable that we didn't even dare to order anything else, for fear of annoying the waitress even more. The worst came when paying the bill. We realized that they had already automatically added an 18% tip, which was completely inappropriate considering the terrible service we had received. In addition, they charged us an additional percentage for the use of the card, which seemed unfair to us after having consumed in the restaurant.I would not recommend this place to anyone at all. It is sad to find places that treat their customers like this and I would like these types of establishments to not provide service to the public. I even contacted the owner to express my displeasure, but her response was simply indifferent, which was very unfortunate.I hope my experience can be useful to those considering visiting this restaurant. Remember that it is important to receive friendly and professional service when we go out to enjoy a meal away from home.

As someone from La Paz and Fanny's having more of a La Paz style of food, this place really makes me feel like back home. The owner's amazing hospitality, great attention to detail, very friendly staff, and the food tasting like mom or grandma made it, is what makes this place unique and better from all other Bolivian restaurants in NOVA. Yes it is a very small establishment but they truly do their best to accommodate everyone.

Food is great and always fresh. The lunch special is the best in town. 14 dollars for a soup, entre and drink. Good home cooked food no fast food.

Delicious and authentic Bolivian cuisine. Excellent service. My 10 year old daughter said the food was the best she’s ever had.
