Came in at 2p for Mother’s Day. Seated quickly with a reservation. Service was slow (nice enough people) - when my food arrived it was luke warm - quickly becoming cool as I ate. Didn’t have utensils until well after appetizers and salads were delivered (shortage says the server). Probably would’ve had a much better experience during slower hours. Took 2.5 hours total. 2p-415ish.

Food was good and the restaurant was very nice, but the service was absolutely horrible. It was some confusion of who would wait our table. After three different severs one of the owners had to finally wait our table. I do appreciate the owner and his hospitality . If it wasn't for him we would've had to leave.

First time here and it was great. The food, service, and atmosphere was wonderful. We were there around 3:30pm. It was not loud or crowded!Vegetarian options: Salads and veggiesParking: We had to find parking in a near by parking lot and walk to the restaurant but it was not far or difficult to walk.

Coming in from Connecticut since my son goes to college in the area. We were looking for food, made reservations early in the day. We arrived 15 mins early we were seated our waitress came ten mins later ordered beverages and placed our dinner orders We basically ordered a bunch of appetizers. We recieved our teas. We noticed that people that came at same time or after were getting full meals and our food hadn't come yet. At almost one hr. The waitress said the kitchen was backed up and they didn't get our order still waiting had to call manager he used the same tactic when did get our food my wife's wings were cold and my meatballs were over microwaved so they were tough out of three I only ate half of one. The manager never came back over. He took half off of the food but not the beverages. He should have ate the whole bill and comeback and explained. After over an hour when other table recieved they're meals in front of us he should be ashamed. And i still left a tip.

This was a very quaint restaurant. We were seated immediately by a very sweet young lady who provided excellent service. We both ordered soup which was served hot and delicious. I had a French dip sandwich that was huge, the prices were very reasonable and if we ever make it back to Farmville, this will be our go to place!!!

Great waterfront location in farmville. Watched the eclipse here while having lunch outside. Restaurant staff even provided eclipse viewing glasses. Food was decent and they looked to have a good bar menu. Overall great place to have lunch while visiting Farmville.

Our party of 16 arrived with high hopes for a great dining experience, understanding the challenges restaurants face, especially when short-staffed. We were assured upon arrival that, despite the staffing issue, we would be well taken care of.Unfortunately, our experience fell significantly short of expectations. The first sign of trouble was the wait time for our appetizers, which took an hour to arrive. This was followed by another lengthy wait of an hour for our dinner. Anticipation turned to disappointment when the food finally arrived; not only was it lukewarm at best, but several dishes were cold. Our order of Teriyaki wings was missing, and the burgers and fries that did arrive were cold. Additionally, the bread served with our crab dip was hard, making it difficult to enjoy. It was disheartening to see the majority of our group leave their food behind or discard it upon returning home, citing that it was inedible. This is not what one expects from a dining establishment, especially one that accepts reservations for large parties. While we understand the challenges posed by being short-staffed, it is crucial for restaurants to maintain a standard of quality in both service and food. If a restaurant is unable to provide this, it may be better to not accept reservations at all rather than compromise the dining experience of its customers. Our experience serves as a cautionary tale for future guests.
