The atmosphere is very warm and welcoming. The baristas are very friendly and made my coffee very quickly. My latte was very delicious. It's not cheap, but the quality is good. The location is close to many historical places, so it is easy to walk there. I would go there next time I visit Fredericksburg.
Agora is a cozy cafe in the heart of FBX. Located a short walk from the VTA/Amtrak station, it is a nice place to work, read, or study. The space isn't massive, but there is usually seating to be found, and you'll often find a diverse crowd ranging from UMW students to retirees. I just want to warn the baked goods are DEFINITELY not as delicious as one might expect by the smell and are over hyped. They all seem to miss a certain aspect of baked goods.
