we were there with a big party (>20 people) and although they were a bit late to give us our table (about 30mins past the reservation time), it is quite understandable and their food and service more than made up for the wait.A great place with great food and great staff. no complain at all.

I just left this place and the service was horrible. My fiance said the waitresses were talking bad about someone in Spanish referring to me or her and when I spoke Spanish to say thank you I was not even acknowledged. Very rude service. Gracious for the food.

First of all, El Rodeo 2, the new one on Salem Church Road is fantastic. Service is always fantastic, food is all hot, chips and salsa are wonderful, and every item on the menu has been exceptional. The manager is friendly and when he comes over to our table spends a few minutes speaking in Spanish to my partner. We visit here 4 or 5 times a month. Absolutely LOVE the food.

Very nice place. Years ago, our favorite Mexican restaurant moved out of Fredericksburg, and we have been searching ever since for a very good Mexican one. Last year, after an event at the Fairgrounds, we noticed El Rodeo restaurant and decided to try it. OMG! It was so good. The chicken was moist and soft. The taste was spot on. So we went again last night. This time I had a dish with pork, beef, shrimp and chicken. Every protein was done perfectly! Juicy and soft. Most definitely a must try. I hope the 2nd one one Salem Church Road is just as good. That one is closer to us. Also bring a big stomach. Portions are big.

Very good food, we came after we were tired from the fair, they were nice despite us coming in a little before they closed (sorry!), They had great food, my friends loved it, I enjoyed eating there and I'm glad we decided to eat after the fair!
My family and I came for the first time and it was a great experience. Our waitress was very sweet and attentive! Food was so delicious and affordable. Will be definitely coming back!
