Loved the food, and it was one of the only local places that catered really well to my friend being vegitarian, and actually tasted fresh! Seems I am late on this review since I passed by earlier today and noticed that Greens and Grains had closed down, but for what it's worth I hope it eventually re opens after COVID because it was delicious and I would definitely come back!

This place is a little gem. It's not fancy but it's good! Everything there they make themselves. I had the Caesar salad, crab bisque soup, and the homemade strawberry lemonade. The soup was a little salty tiny I did ask for extra old bay seasoning so next time I'll just do without. I've seen other reviews saying that they used "metal dog bowls" for the salad that's literally just to measure the lettuce for the size bowl that you get. Common sense. The strawberry lemonade was delicious but I didn't like all the pulp from the strawberry. The owner said that he purées the strawberries himself but it would be better if he strained it some. There were seeds and small bits of strawberries. Some people like that I don't. They do sell it in a half gallon size and I would buy that and then strain it myself because it is still really good. Overall highly recommend this place it's a 5 minutes drive from my office and I'm going to come here as much as possible! I don't know home much my food cost I was in a group of 3 we all got two food items and a drink and it was about $40. It's in the same shopping center as the planet fitness. Get place to go for a healthy meal after a work out! And a healthy/non expensive food option for UMW students.

Thought I'd stop here after a workout today and the first thing I noticed was how awful it smells inside. The food was unappetizing, served on dingy and broken cafeteria ware and maybe a metal dog bowl? Salad took up maybe half the small bowl. Lack of clarity on pricing for "pick 2", wasn't even told my total price until after I paid. Value felt like half of what I paid. Ended up going to a reliable chicken fast food place after this for a real lunch.
