Went to a local dive bar.I wasn’t sure if I wanted to go to McDonald’s and go home… I do Uber and this place is in the middle of where the Uber trips come from in Fredericksburg.I had dropped somebody off near the area and saw all the cute places, so I circled it about 10 times praying to god on whether I needed a burger or I needed $10 and no burger…I got the best burger I’ve had in years.Absolute banger burger.Swiss cheese, sautéed portobello, grilled red onion, several hefty slices of crispy bacon, beef was excellent quality, exactly as much carbon from the grill as I would want on a grilled burger, on evenly toasted brioche.They made it extra special for me and did fried pickles as the side instead of fries.The flavors, and everything was hot and perfectly crispy. I will be returning there very soon.Whenever an Uber passenger from the VRE asks me “what’s good around here” I will have the answer.

Ordered 1lb of wings, 1 chicken taco, and 1 sweet chili shrimp taco. Everything was delicious! Wings were huge and the tacos had so much flavor.

Fantastic place, well before the main FBurg area. Wings were really good. Jerk rubwas not crazy, just enough to taste good and be different. Poboy was as poboy's are. Simple, delicious. Onions rings were a good choice.Will go back, highly recommended.
Got a Chicago style hotdog. So, let's be honest, it's no Portillo's, but it's pretty tasty. Just a cool dive bar with the appropriate cast of characters joined by a great music score. The bartender was on top of it and quick with the service. So bring a book, maybe Perdido Street Station, and kick it.
