I moved to Fredericksburg from New York April of 2022.. as I got off the train my first day in town I passed by katora and walked in for a coffee.. little did I know this would become my new home. Wednesday night open mic is amazing, the staff make sure that it is a welcoming safe space for everyone:-) love you Katora ;)!

My husband's words "I think this is the best coffee I've ever had in my life" he had a pistachio latte and I had a lavender vanilla latte. The delicious coffee was served with a genuinely kind spirit in an incredibly friendly atmosphere.

Is anyone else so tired of terrible customer service? I was waiting at the counter for someone to take my order and the guy comes up (with his headphones in) doesn’t say hello, doesn’t even ask me my order, and just stands there and waits for me to tell him what I want. If you don’t like people then find a desk job. I was happy to walk out and not give them my money.
This place has all the art stuff and supports local things. There are great aspects to this place but the four times I’ve been here the coffee has been absolute trash.

I stopped by this morning with my partner and the man serving us was so friendly. The vegan sausage, egg, and cheese bagel was amazing. The hummus was very flavorful and not made with a ton of oil - just perfect. I noticed that they host Dungeons & Dragons there, live music, open mic, etc. They sell work from what looks like local artists and many indie comic books to choose from. Nothing but good vibes. I will be returning often.
