Was in town and stopped by for brunch on a Saturday. It was packed - 35 minute wait, but tables turned efficiently. The girl at reception was very kind and knew we were hungry, rushed us to a table as quickly as possible. Our server was friendly and efficient. The hash browns were cold, not sure if they had been sitting there. Everything else we ordered was delicious.Recommended for a delicious (expect a heart attack) lunch/brunch spot!Easy parking as well since half the strip mall is vacant.
The chicken and waffles are absolutely delicious! The staff is always kind and professional. Sometimes, the wait is a bit longer than I would like, but it is well worth it. Would recommend this establishment to friends for breakfast any day!

We visited Metro Diner yesterday and had the best food and most wonderful, energetic waitress Danielle. The place was packed but the wait went fast. Service from Danielle was the best with a smile and great conversation. We will definitely be back to visit and ask for her section. Her energy is contagious with her smile. The food, my goodness where do I start… I got a Bloody Mary and that was delicious and the old man got a beer and the Iron meat loaf dinner with Green Beans and Mashed potatoes & I got The Classic Burger and fries with a waffle on the side with strawberry butter. The food didn’t disappoint. We seen Metro Diner on triple DDD and thought we’d try it. Everything was amazing. We will be back ago soon, Thank you Danielle for a wonderful visit and Metro diner cooks for great food.

Ordered breakfast bowl through Doordash, not seaoned at all, ordered bowls with beacon and there was no beacon avacado was brown and black. Never ordering again. Do not recommend.

We were in town for a quick visit and looking for a local place to have breakfast. We saw the diner and thought why not. Oh what a great choice! We looked at the menu and could not decide what to get. Anne, our server, helped us navigate the menu. We ordered the chicken and waffles and the Bissell breakfast with grits. The chicken was delicious, waffles good too and Anne showed us how to add hot sauce to syrup - try it! The Bissell was also good! The grits, with cheese of course, were like the grits you get when you eat in the south. We left withleftovers boxes and happy bellies. If you're in town, run don't walk to this place. If you're really blessed, you may get Anne as your server ?

I was traveling from just south of Richmond to DC. We stopped at this little gem and was blown away! We took seats at the counter and I could've just watched them all day! Talk about team work! I had the fried chicken Benedict. Oh my! So good! Friendly, great service, awesome food! Are my exclamation points getting on your nerves yet?? I will make this trip again just to eat!

Price had gone up. Food portion had gotten small. You order breakfast and they decided that one pc of toast is all ya get. It used to be two. Customers aren't worth 5 cents. But they want to charge 2 bucks for an extra pc. Won't be back. I know it's petty. But it's the principle
