A quaint spot in downtown Fredericksburg. The menu offers a good range of options. We had the bourbon wings and the pretzel, both tasty options. The cheese sauce for the pretzel was very good. The smoked char taste of the wings, was also very good. The cocktail menu also offers many options. The Congress Hall was a great bourbon cocktail. Wait was long but worth it. Learned there is a bar downstairs and you can order food-it has a speakeasy, cozy vibe. Will definitely return. The tuna is fantastic and the Brussel sprouts are terrific also.

I searched this place out for the whiskey selection but left having had the best wings I have ever eaten. I usually go dry rub but went buffalo and ended up ordering a second order instead of ordering a "meal." The Whistlepig rye was pretty good too

Can’t say enough great things about Rebellion! From their food, to their service, to their amazing drinks…they are always spot on! Rachel and Maddie are both amazing and make sure we are taken care of every time we come in. Highly recommend! #
Food is actually pretty good. And the drinks are solid as well. Bartender service is hit or miss. There is a younger female (really thin, longer brown hair) that is pretty rude. Couple next to us advised "that's pretty much her MO" and that she's a "typical GenZ bartender". :). Not sure that's completely true as have had good experience with other Gen Z bartenders. But, this one appears not to want patrons.

An almost perfect whiskey bar with a great selection of whiskey. Food was most excellent as well. Loved both the Charlie Does Surf tuna sandwich and the dry-rubbed wings. What would have made it perfect? A steak, I think. But honestly, this'll be my new Freddyburg go-to

Mocha-Tini and the Mimosas are great. The TaterTots are much better than the fries as well, definitely would recommend those.The "Belly-Up" brunch sandwich is delicious, definitely recommend it.

When I want a burger in Fred, I think of Rebellion. I'd met a friend for lunch sometime back at Rebellion and liked it so much, I had to bring my partner in. My partner loves burgers so I figured she'd be the best judge. I ordered the Classic Bacon Cheeseburger (1 patty with American cheese, bacon, bread and butter pickles, onion and I added mayo) with a side of Fries that I requested be loaded (Nashville hot sauce, bacon bits, cheese sauce, ranch and chives!!). I love combination of saucy hot fries and a perfect burger. I did steal the lettuce and tomato from my partner's burger, The Ramsey Bolton Burger (2 patties, bacon jam, cheddar, mayo, onion and lettuce, tomato). She held the pickles which I would've taken too - I think I remember them saying they were house made last time I was there. She got regular fries because she's not much for spicy. We both thought there were too many onions but they were easy enough to pull off. My partner was surprisingly not a fan of the bourbon bacon jam. It had and odd texture to it and she said she would've preferred an onion jam to the raw onions and maybe just regular bacon or no bacon. She wasn't able to finish which is really saying something. When in town again, we'd definitely go to Rebellion again. Don't be afraid to stop in because it sounds like a bar. Notably, we decided to skip going there on the weekend because they were packed and didn't want to be in a bar scene but on a Wednesday night, it was great and very welcoming and not a flinch when we just ordered a soft drink and iced tea.
