On a weekend trip with my girl. Decided to try The Tavern. Overall very good. While the food was a little slow this is not McDonalds. We started off with the crab dip and Rueben Egg Rolls. The crab dip was good but could have used a little more old bay for our tastes. The Rueben Egg Rolls were really good. I could make a meal on just those alone. For our entrees we have the fish and chips and a cheeseburger. My wife had to eat the burger with a knife and fork it was so large. The fish was cooked correctly and the portion size was good. The cole slaw was very good. It is a sweet vinegar base and not the drowning in mayo type you usually get. The atmosphere was very nice and pleasant. Handicap access was adequate. Entrance is a little challenging with a larger slope to get in but it was manageable. Would definitely recommend and would come back.

3rd time eating here. Food is always good but tonight it took over 30 minutes to get my food. I could hear other customers complaining about it taking so long to get service and food. After I sit down, i saw employees look over and see me at table but took a while before came over. I like the food but it is a shame that it takes so long to get a sandwich and lack of service. Not sure if would go back based on recent experience.

My adult son was treating us to dinner tonight and we'd never been to The Tavern at Lee's Hill, so we decided to give it a chance. The place is located in a little shopping plaza, but sort of off on it's own too. Very cute exterior with limited outdoor dining. It isn't much to look at inside; could use some updates. There was a sign upon entering that said, "Seat yourself" and someone made their way to our table immediately for drink orders. My husband and I ordered unsweetened iced teas and my son got a beer. The food was slow coming out, but that's okay. Perfection takes time. They're cooking up real food here. Not just some TV dinners in the microwave. The food is fantastic! It was 70 cent wing night tonight (Wednesday's). My son ordered the Spicy BBQ Bourbon, the Sweet Chile and the Teriyaki flavored and liked them best in that order. He said the Spicy BBQ Bourbon were amazing, the Sweet Chile were good, but the Teriyaki were just okay. He also got an order of the mozzarella sticks and a Guinness beer. I ordered the BBQ wings and mozzarella sticks and my husband got the Bacon, egg and cheese burger with onion rings. Their wings are thick and meaty and the basic BBQ had a nice flavor. Their mozzarella sticks were hot, packed full of stretchy cheese and had a flavorful marinara accompanying them. My husband said his burger was thick and juicy and the onion rings were some of the best he's ever had. Great pub food and fair prices! Service was good. We will definitely return!

Cozy atmosphere with fun tavern style food and friendly service. My friend and I sat by the warm fireplace. Met the owner. He is an interesting guy. The covid restrictions have cost his business a lot of money so they will be closing so go here sooner than later if you're looking for a place to relax with your significant other or friends.

The food here is absolutely outrageously good. Starting out with chicken wings was a great choice. The burger was fantastic cooked properly and the bun was delicious. My friend had a French dip that was just as good very tasty steak fries plentiful. I can’t wait to come back definitely a five star stop like him my buddy s sandwich was loaded with meat fantasy stop.

First time here. Restaurant is small inside but wasnt busy and was able to get a table. Restaurant was clean and service was good. Wade was friendly. Took a little while to get food but I didnt mind. The sandwich was large and would get the same again. Plenty of fries came with it. WIll be back again.

I've eaten here twice now and will come back again. Their half pound burgers are excellent and cooked perfectly each time. Their service was excellent and they made sure my drinks were full. I highly recommend this place.
