Umi Japanese Cuisine is my favorite place for sushi in town. I wish I could say that my four years of being stationed in Japan lend credibility to this review, but unfortunately, they don’t—I don’t remember the taste of anything from 20 years ago. However, I want to offer a helping hand to those of us who want to explore the various sushi rolls but don’t know what they look like. Here are my top three favorites so far: The Charles Roll, The Surf & Turf Roll, and a roll that was on special. I also picked a sake that has the letter ‘G’ in its name, like my name. I had no other basis for choosing a sake, other than the fact that I don’t like it too sweet. The owner, Chen, and the team were efficient as always. My family and I also spend every Christmas here for lunch.

I've eaten here twice, now. I'm sorry that I've ever ordered from any other sushi restaurant in the area because this one is the best. Try the off menu item: Tuna spoons they are amazing! All of the sushi that we tried both times were reasonably priced, delicious, and fresh. Also, I really enjoyed the Yaki Soba with chicken and the edamame. The service was great both in restaurant and through a door dash order.

Came here for Valentines Day dinner with my wife yesterday. got there just before 5pm and didn't have to wait for a table. service wast fast , friendly, and consistent! got the gyoza, miso soup, love boat for 2, shrimp lo mien, and some drinks. incredibly please with the entire experience! you really do get quite a bit of food for the price. including drinks, we were at almost exactly 100 for a great date night. Highly recommend!

My wife and I went in there 1 time and the last time. We are eating and not aware of the time which is close to 3:pm the waiter is trying to get his money close the register and kick us out because they close at 3. I have never in my life witnessed such treatment. This resteraunts is close to the college and surrounding areas and they do not care how they treat people because nobody knows my story but now they do. Rude, Rude, Rude. And the food sucked.
