We walked out of the Waffle House in Dumfries after sitting for nearly 15 minutes without anyone even offering us coffee. They weren't busy - 5 customers inside and 6 employees on the floor to include the manager, and NO ONE ACKNOWLEDGED US (except the woman who gave us menus).BUT we came to this one in Fredericksburg and hit the jackpot! Our server, Elnora, was super friendly and hospitable. She is like warm sunshine and the cook, Bernard, is stellar! Our food was hot and delicious, and he was kind. We will drive every weekend down to this one because it is worth it!

This specific Waffle “Home” has had my heart since I was a kid, and we’d stop on our way back to PA from the beach. Now as a college student, my friends and I spend a great deal of time here (sometimes multiple times per week), and we are never disappointed. The food cannot be beat for the price, and the staff is so down to earth! We just LOVE April and Katie and all of the staff at this Waffle Home!!!
