*Something is very different* the place is not the same. This was my favorite Peruvian restaurant for years. Every time I come to Henrico county I made it my duty to stop by and get some food.Lately, every time I go there they mess up my order EVERY TIME! I would order cilantro rice instead get fried rice, sometimes I wouldn’t get utensils. Something doesn’t add up I’m not understanding what’s going on! This never happened in the past.Is there a new ownership? Please someone explain.

They have a good amount of dishes on their menu, clean, excellent customer service, delicious food, not pricey but you get large portions whether you eat in or take out.Vegetarian options: Multiple types of Salads, plantains, a few types of beans/vegetables, and at least two types of rice.Parking: Parking is free, and it's close to the restaurant.Kid-friendliness: Yes, they have fries, burgers, hot dogs and chicken strips.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes.

I've seen this place by the walmart for a long time, and I was intrigued, but cautious because the windows are tinted from the outside, and I wasn't sure what was going on inside. Today, I said, "ya know what? I'm going to just go in and see what's up." SO. GLAD. I. DID!!! Yes, I was still a bit intimidated because I wasn't sure about the food. I've never had Peruvian food before, but I said to myself, it's chicken. Who's gonna mess up chicken? So I looked over the menu, and I picked the antichucho (?) That's prob wrong, but it was grilled chicken thighs on a stick with rice and beans and fried plantains. Honeyyyyyy! When I tell you it was good, it was amazing! And I'm not really a sauce kinda gal, but the sweet lady working there not only helped me pronounce what i was ordering after akwardly pointing at it (lol) she offered me this green sauce and this creamy white sauce. I was feeling a bit adventurous, so I said okay why not?"" That was really good too! The chicken was moist and seasoned well, but not overpowering. The rice was cooked perfectly, and the black beans on top were seasoned and cooked perfectly, too. The plantains just tied the whole meal together. The portion was huge, so i have lunch and dinner, and for about 15 bucks or so, that's definitely a win. They serve lamb and seafood options too, but like I said, you can't really mess up chicken, especially not here. Anyway, 10 out of 10 HIGHLY RECOMMEND! I'll be back!

Pretty good food for the most part, nothing incredible. Service is not the sweetest and can be a little snappy. The vibe is fine, it isn't trying to be fancy which is good with me. My issue with this place is how consistently I've found dangerously thin chicken bones that could easily be swallowed and are very very sharp and could definitely tear your insides up. I mean really dangerous stuff. I won't ever eat here again due to the risk. I've found these little bones in what is supposed to be boneless chicken 3 times in a row. I kept giving chances but never again. Genuinely a dangerous restaurant to eat at.

wow. just wow. ordered doordash from here and i got my mind blown. had the chicken cilantro (super juicy, seasoned perfectly, no gristle or yucky bits) sides of plantain and black beans. toooooo good. and the ceviche de pescado (succulent, tangy, not chewy at all) made me cry happy tears. first time in a long time that i’ve tried a new restaurant and been happy with every single item i ordered. want pictures? sorry, ate the food too fast to take any.

We sat in a booth under the television. The TV volume was high and loud, a bit distracting for us, or other guests. I ordered the 1/4 chicken dark meat. It was a lot of bone and not much protein. The French fries were fresh and crispy, but I had a piece of a chicken bone in my fried rice. The fried rice was not hot. I may write a better review the next time we try it.
