This is definitely one of my family's favorite spots! My oldest daughter always request Gojo on her birthday. So sad to see it closed. I hope it opens back up one day.

Stopped in here on a Monday night on a whim. We have eaten Ethiopian several times at places across the country and we were very impressed with Gojo! The house specialty beef was particularly delicious as well as all the veggies we ordered. Perfectly spiced. We will be back!

I got the vegetarian combination (vegan by default). It included just about all of the items on the veg section of the menu. Everything was flavourful, and I enjoyed getting to try a variety of things. They give you lots of injera too, where others I've been to do not. My 11 year old enjoyed this as well. Staff was friendly and helpful.

The place was cozy, and our waiter was VERY personalable. Ordered the beef sambusa (which were amazing but only got two in the order). The actual dinner was authentic Ethiopian sides served on top of a spongy, sour bread, and you eat with your hands. The flavors were good!Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian and vegan options.

Poor excuse for Ethiopian restaurant. First time wasn't good but gave them benefit tried a second. Service is ridiculous. It's like this is a part time job or something and that's the owner.

Food was tasty (Ethiopians use too much oil/butter in their food) The owner, young man, was friendly. Very costly (almost 25$ for one meal including tax and 15% to 30 % tip he demands. Quantity of food very small.

Admittedly I was nervous as the reviews were mixed. However, I could not have asked for a better first time! Hawi, our server, was so personable and kind and very funny. We loved him! And the food was AMAZING. I was concerned it would be too spicy for my husband, but it was perfect! We’ll be back! ?

We were in town visiting family and had not had Ethiopian in awhile. We found Gojo nearby, and it was just what we were looking for. Our waiter learned that we had both vegetarians and meat lovers in our party and made suggestions that left everyone satisfied. Authentic spices from the homeland flavored the meal just right and we departed with smiles on our faces. Well done!

I’m in town visiting on business, came in, ordered to go(though I wish I would have stayed to enjoy the atmosphere). There no other way to say it, this place is the real deal! Eating the food is a whole experience! It’s recommended to eat with your hands for the most authentic experience. The Awaze Tibs; was intensely savory, mildly spicy, and perfectly balanced against the Injera(crepe-like bread provided to eat with). I wish desperately that I had room to eat more! I cannot recommend this place more highly! 10/10 I hope to drop in and try more the next couple days I’m in town.Vegetarian options: There are plentiful options for the vegetarian eating folks as well! Appetizers and entrees that are more than just a salad!

We have been coming here for 7 years and are regulars! We love the food and it never disappoints. It is decadent, delicious, and savory every time! But what we love more than anything is the ambience and the friendly conversation with the owners, since it is a family owned and run small restaurant. They remember us and our favorite food requests every time we come!

The food was very good! And the owner was such a delight to talk to. We went on a Saturday night and it wasn't too busy but still had a good amount of people. We love that their is an Ethiopian place in short pump!Vegetarian options: They have a veggie combo that is delicious!Parking: There is a parking lot for the restaurant

Tried calling on a takeout and they said they were busy and put me on hold and hung up. Tried calling again and they would not pick up. The online menu is outdated and actual prices are higher. Went to the restaurant to order and had to wait 15 mins to order and it takes 35 mins..on top.of this the person at the service was rude. Will never visit this place again

Absolutely outstanding food, good portions and a very friendly owner who waited our table. When they didn't have something and I mentioned I'd reallt just wanted to try it she made it happen without an ingredient, for free, just so I could taste it. The food lit me up in a good way, with flavor and variety. We will be going back. For anyone who says its a lot of money for the amount of food. Make your own at home, the amount of spice and quality of ingredients they use is evident and the price is honestly under what I'd pay for it. My wife and I ate 5 hours ago and are still not even close to hungry.
