I love Jersey Mike's and this location is solid. They do the food right, the staff is friendly, and the place is clean.
I was very disappointed when I went there today around 2:00 pm. I watch an employee change her gloves then touched the register. Then proceed to come make my sandwiches w/ out changing her gloves. The slicer was nasty. So I cancelled my order. Never again!!!

Where’s the MEAT!! (July 11th) This was my first and last time at this location… I’ve been to almost every JMS in the richmond area and have never been this disappointed or unsatisfied with my sandwich. The staff was cleaning up when I got there around 2pm. As I was the only customer in line I figured someone would acknowledge my presence. Several minutes went by before I was acknowledged and then finally my order was taken. As my sandwich was prepared I noticed there was very little meat on it so I commented “that it looked to have very little meat on it” to the reply of “we actually put extra meat on it”. As you can see in the photo I basically paid for a meatless sandwich and felt as if it was a waste of time to return since my concerns were already expressed.

Definitely the dirtiest Jersey Mike's I've ever been in food & trash everywhere behind the counter directly in the food prep area. Lettuce was brown my roast beef was turning grey definitely not a great sandwich. I'm assuming this location is having trouble with staffing the location in Mechanicsville is fantastic & the location on Staples Mill road is good. There were 3 employees fixing the sandwiches like normal but the 1st 2 didn't speak to me like they were zombies I told them what I wanted(neither asked or responded) then they prepared my sub. I guess it was the manager on duty who rung me up & actually spoke. Jersey Mike's without question is my favorite sub restaurant but I was really shocked by store cleanliness & food quality.
