I have gone here 5 (or more) times for lunch on weekdays and it always takes a very long time to get served, so I will not be back to this restaurant for lunch on a work day. It's a shame because it's within walking distance of my office and the food is pretty good. Today, we got there at 11:50am and did not get our food until 12:45pm and had to be back by 1pm, so I couldn't even enjoy my food. The employees are very friendly, but they are stretched thin and I feel that food runners, hosts and other support staff would make the experience better.

When I travel for business I’m never sure where I will end up to eat. Park Tavern was a great find. In addition to the standard bar faire, they have a great entree menu of various Western European style dishes from Shepherds Pie to schnitzel to fish n chips, and my favorite was the London Broil. There is a great assortment of beers on tap from several countries and a great whiskey bar.Prices will be higher than regular bar food, but the atmosphere and quality of food makes the added cost worth it. Barkeep Sarah became my best friend for the two nights I was in Virginia.Parking: The restaurant is in a shopping district. There is 2 hour parking on the street and an unlimited free public parking garage one block from the location

Shanda was fantastic! We had a group of five and we shared a bunch of appetizers, which can be a lot to keep track of, but she stayed on top of everything and all the food was delicious. The steak salad in particular was top notch, and went great with the loaded chips. Shanda gave great drink suggestions that really took the whole meal to the next level for me. Wonderful spot to see friends and spend an enjoyable Saturday evening together. We will be back!

Would not recommend. This was my first and last visit to this place. Wait staff inattentive even though I'm sitting at the bar! I sat in the bar in the back, so it was not busy. I advised the 2 bartenders that this was my first visit. They didn't really seem to care, handed me a menu and asked for my drink order. Ordered a margarita which tasted like lemonade. I waited to let them know the drink was not right. They were both back and forth several times and I had placed my menu down and was patiently waiting someone to ask for my food order. I finally decided this was not the place. Not very inviting AT ALL! When I advised the wait staff that I was leaving because they didn't seem to have time for me and though they never checked, my drink tasted like lemonade. The response was, "OKAY!". No apology. Wait staff just walked off and I did the same!!! Co-Workers and I are in town for the week, but this won't be on the list of places to dine! I was excited to try this place, but it proved to be a great disappointment.

We sat near the bar and Sage served us. She was super busy and some massive douche gave her a hard time about drinks or whatever, but we thought she was super attentive and kind and was always there for us when we needed something. We’ve been here before and the food is all amazing, but Sage really made it a stellar experience. For google SEO purposes, we got bangers and mash and a great burger and fries. Also their Shepherds pie is amazing. 10/10 experience.

My husband and I came for dinner. I had theJagerschnitzel and my husband had the Bangers and Mash. Both plates were delicious and more than we could finish. Anthony was our server, and he was professional and informative. He did not rush us at all. We will be returning so I can try the Beef Wellington.

Don't get the shepherd's pie if you are hungry. My husband said it should have been $7 instead of $17. The server was very good, but we were seated at a high top table which immediately took our experience down drastically. We were looking for a relaxing romantic dinner which turned in to us ordering less food (I only got a Caesar salad) because we felt rushed and uncomfortable. It could have been so much better. Added pictures of updated menu prices.

We had a party of six and our server was on point all evening. Thank you Christian, you were awesome. The fish and chips is a must. Delicious. The French dip as well as the pizza were delish as well. We got the tavern chips and the mushrooms as appetizers and they didn't disappoint. Highly recommend. Loved the sitting area with the fireplace too.

Me and the wife stopped here while stopping at Aloft hotel. We had the fried pickles, shepherds pie, and calamari. The fried pickles were like fry size with pickles in them. Not the full spear. Good flavor and the sauce went well with them. Shepherds pie was amazing and the wife like the calamari and that it was fresh not frozen. We sat at the bar and the bartender was fantastic.
