Very unprofessional. Reached out multiple times via phone and email to place an order for my baby shower and was never acknowledge. A simple im not excepting orders would have been good enough but to not say anything at all is just bad service.

River City Sweets made custom cupcakes for an event for my son who has an allergy to peanuts/tree nuts. Working with Heather on this made me feel better knowing that he could enjoy a sweet treat! River City Sweets was a lifesaver for us! The company I work for was in need of a rushed custom cookie order with our company logo/image. Our go-to bakery shop was unable to accommodate the order, but suggested River City Sweets to us. We are so glad they did! Not only did Heather help turn our the order in a matter of a few days, we also offered to drop off the order since she was scheduled to be in the area at the same time we needed them. The cookies were absolutely delicious and turned out beautiful. We can't wait to work with her again.

The solar system cake pops and astronaut/rocket ship cookies I ordered for my nephew's first birthday were exactly what we asked for. Everything was not only beautiful but delicious too! Heather's cookies were especially flawless and my favorite part.

After the bakery I normally go to unfortunately closed due to Covid, I searched for a replacement and found River City Sweets. I took a chance and ordered a sushi cake, hoping the cake tasted as good as the one I used to get from the other bakery. Boy am I glad I did! For one, Heather was so responsive and easy to work with, second, she nailed it with the design (which looked amazing) and third and just as important, the chocolate cake was absolutely delicious and moist! The other reviews were precise and I want folks to know that this is a great bakery and I am very happy I found her! She decorated the cake with lots of details, down to the ribbon around the board the cake is on. I'll definitely order future cakes and other baked goods from here and you should to!! :)

Heather was phenomenal! Inclement weather caused alot of problems with plans but she was very accommodating. The cookies were super cute!!!! and omg so tasty! we will definitely be a repeat customer! nothing like great customer service!

Ordered a cake for a 30th birthday a few months back with River City Sweets. I was extremely happy with the cake, the communication with Heather, and the timeline, as I was requesting the cake only a week in advance. Would absolutely order from RCS again, and fully intend on it. The cake exceeded our expectations and truly was one of the best cakes I’ve had. Thanks again!

River City is absolutely fantastic! I am not very experienced with cakes but Heather was able to recommend and design the perfect cake for my wife and I's anniversary. Not only was it beautiful but it was delicious as well. I would highly recommend River City to anyone seeking baked goods and I will be sure to use them in the future!

Heather is easily one of my favorite bakers in all of the land, but especially Richmond. She is super easy to work with and is always ready to share ideas and work with difficult timelines. Not to mention the creations and dessert she makes are some of my favorite I have had my whole life. My family always wants a River City Sweets birthday whoopie pies, cake or cookies. There is a dessert for everyone, and I believe River City Sweets is the place to find that dessert.
