On our way back from a day trip to Charlottesville, we stopped here to grab dinner. We sat pretty quickly. As soon as you walk in, they have a few tables and a fairly large bar, and then to the left, there are larger dining areas with booths and more tables. This was my first time to eat at El Mariachi. I had the carnitas and they were the best tasting carnitas that I have ever had. I look forward to returning for more, or maybe something different. The service was slow and their business was brisk. Their chips and salsa had a good taste. This place becomes very busy at night so you may want to stop here in the afternoon, if possible. Where to start? The food is the best Mexican I’ve had across the east coast and I travel for work daily for work. The food was fresh and fast soon as we ordered not even 8mins later it was ready. I had the acp definitely recommend. Only think they could do better would be a bigger size on the guacamole but other than that. 10 of 10 would eat here again.
