“Such a unique restaurant with good food and vibes throughout. I came here because of Hampton's restaurant week and literally had no expectations. The food is really good, the owners are nice and attentive and leave you feeling like you're more than just a customer. Wifey and I will definitely be back to chop it up and try more things on the menu. The steak and cheese & chips and salsa is ? ?.“
“Outstanding, authentic Mexican food. Reasonable prices for quality food. Great dishes full of flavor and house made sauces and moles to boot. Hard time going anywhere else. Definitely my go to Mexican and I'm a snob about authentic Mexican cuisine.“
“Seriously one of our best Mexican restaurant visit. Oysters and ceviche was one of the best dishes my wife and I have ever eaten. No sweet tea. But they had 2 other drinks that'll make up for it. Every dish we had was perfectly seasoned and cooked. We visited the local NASA facilty. The locals have a great place to eat.“
“I ordered the famous chiles rellenos ($12.99) to go for dinner which consisted of 2 poblano peppers stuffed with cheese and rice and beans on the side. They were delicious. Plus, I was given chips and homeade salsa with my to go order which I did not expect. I loved the garlicky salsa and the chips were very fresh. This is the best Mexican food I've had in Newport News, VA.Vegetarian options: Various vegetarian lunch menu dishes and dinner menu items. I'm not a vegetarian, but the first time I eat anywhere I prefer vegetarian options. I feel if you can't do veggies right, there might be problems. Chichuahua's food is VERY good. I look forward to going back.“
“I read a few reviews and must say that our experience echos them. The finest food served in less than 10 mins right at the busiest dinner hour. Raul was very attentive yet every staff member that pass by, stopped to ask if we needed anything. I've never experience such team work at a restaurant- most waiters are focused solely on there section at other restaurants NOT HERE - EVERYONE IS PLEASANT AND READY TO HELP SERVE YOU.We'll be back & if your smart you'll stop in too.“
“Very nice little Mexican restaurant, and they live up to the great reviews I saw here! The Choriqueso was amazing. My wife had the enchiladas rancheros and it was very yummy and could not have been more fresh. I had the Si Senor Burrito, it was huge and the 3 different sauces really brought out different flavors of the meat.“
“Best place ever! Me and the hubby come here once a week and have never had a bad experience. The staff is super friendly, food is delicious, and prices are great. Last night I tried the Oaxaca bowl for the first time and I’m in love! If I could give 10 stars I would.“
“4.7⭐️This place was surprisingly very good!We used to live in Hampton and I’ve driven past this place entirely too many times. We were in the area and decided to try it. VERY GOOD! I got the Enchiladas Poblanos, and my husband got the carne asada plate. Everything was great! But wow those enchiladas were on the spicy side. I wasn’t expecting that at all.? I finished most of my plate still though! That food was that good. And the staff were all super nice! We will definitely be going back to try more. Highly recommend.“
“Love coming here, perfect for family gatherings. Different, they have things on the menu you don’t see elsewhere, my favorite is the seafood tower they make it how I like it just right delicious and for dessert tress leches cake ? it was delicious I recommend it ? My son had the tacos De lengua he loved them. Service is great too. Came here last night for karaoke it was fun. Seeing people sing was entertaining my 7-year-old was braver enough to get up stage and sing and loved it ?♥️ ?“
“La Fiesta is my new "go to" for Mexican Food. I had the aroze con camarone and a tamale but all the dishes I saw looked wonderful! The top shelf margarita was great as well. The staff were attentive and very welcoming. I can't wait to go back! Thank you for a great experience!“
“There was Mariachi music playing to greet the busy lunch crew. We were seated quickly, given the parking lot was jam packed. Our waitress took our drink order right away. She returned with chips, salsa and ranch dressing (that one threw us for a loop). She took our orders and within minutes our food was out to the table. The beef taco and enchilada had a good flavor, but was on the greasy side. Portions were good sized! They offer a nice sized lunch menu. Alcoholic beverages, desserts, and have a large dinner menu. Our waitress was attentive. We were in and out in approximately 40 , but didn't feel rushed! We will be back!“
“Stopped here after church and it was busy but we got seated right away. Food was good and atmosphere was nice. It seems a little pricey at first but then you get a generous portion of food. We had the fish and chips, brunch Benedict, rodeo burger and BLT. All great dishes but my favorite was the onion rings!“
“Absolutely enjoyed my time.I normally have low expectations with American Mexican restaurants but Juan’s surprised me. Very happy with my experienceParking: Easy to park, have to walk to restaurant.Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly food options“
“I’ve been coming here for years and it’s always been great. Tonight I had the chicken and shrimp fajitas and was impressed with the portion size. It was delicious!I thought it felt like things were missing and realized when I got home it’s because there wasn’t rice and beans on one plate with the lettuce, tomato and guac on the side or even on a separate plate. This time it was just beans no rice on the same plate as lettuce, tomato and guac. Would have been great with cheese but it was delicious without it.I will continue to recommend this place because the food is always good and the staff is very welcoming.Dietary restrictions: I don’t eat beef or pork and love that there are plenty of foods I can choose from that taste good. They have many different shrimp and chicken options. Even vegetarian options.“
“Great place! Ample portions, fair pricing. We went early on a Saturday night, and the place was bustling at 5:30! That tells me that a lot of people like it there!Vegetarian options: You can get almost any dish without meat. Plenty of cheese, rice and beans options.Parking: Shared parking with the neighboring shops in the shopping center. Have never had a parking problem here.“
“I have to say the nice lady that took my order over the phone earlier she answered my question and my order was exactly how I wanted it and she was really nice even when I came to pick up my order , the food tasted great ! I’ll be coming back to this location just based off the staff , I have one in my city and I rather drive 30 minutes away just because of the staff ! Keep up the great work“
“We really enjoyed our dinner at Chiri's Latin Kitchen!!! My kids got the carne asada and picadillo tacos and absolutely loved them both! The salsa was yummy and super fresh tasting! My husband and I shared the special and we all left with happy bellies! The wait staff was very friendly and all took turns checking on the tables. The owner even came by to see how we were enjoying our meals! Defiantly- will be coming back!“
“This is my family's go to Mexican restaurant. Flavorful food for an insanely affordable price and free chips and salsa. The menu isn't overly diverse but it's exactly what you'd expect at an authentic restaurant. Only gripe is meat isn't the highest quality, but for the flavor and price, it's an absolute steal. Parking lot can be inconvenient, especially if it's busy (which it almost always is).“
“First time being in a Qdoba. Ordered a steak burrito, bunch of stuff inside from the array of choices. The "spicy" sauce is not Southwestern spicy, but they have Cholula for some help.I liked the burrito but maybe a bit underseasoned; I like my food with some salt. Comfy booths, pleasant decor--I can see why they're chomping into Chipotle's market share. There wasn't a receptacle for glass, so I left my Jarrito's bottle on top of the rubbish area.Nice people. Cheery, helpful folks.I'd go to another Qdoba after this experience. Definitely go back to that location if I'm in Hampton.“
“Vegetarian options: Clear vegetarian menu section and vegetarian dishesParking: Around the building parking and a big parking lot not far, and just across from the restaurant that you can park in also.Kid-friendliness: Kids menu with quite a few dishes, and of course coloring pages and crayons are given.“
“Server seemed a bit pushy tonight, not normal based on my previous visits. My 3rd choice of the three Mexican Restaurants in the Yorktown area. 24 Feb 22, Lunch today was very good, no issues with the service. 7 Sep 22, Excellent lunch with very good service.“
“As a tourist, it was incredible to experience what has been described to me as the "757" culture. The atmosphere was great, if a little too loud for my taste, but the people were very nice and really there to have a great time.Food and drinks were really good too. I recommend a Birria Burrito to anyone that wants to try it, alongside their delicious crab dip with tortilla chips.“
“At first they were stingy on the chips and salsa but made up for it on our bill, great tip tactic!! Food was good overall and I was very impressed with how tender the beef was in the birria ramen. I wish they would offer some type of habanero, verde or any sauce for your meals that would need it like fajitas or pork belly tacos but it was hard to flag anyone down to ask. I had to ask for tortillas to eat my fajitas and for sauce that was supposed to come with empanadas. Fajitas shrimp was overcooked and dish was bland overall, hence the need for sauce...i had to borrow sour cream from someone to make my meal live up to it's menu status but overall everything was good!“
“As a fan of Mexican food, this place is very reliable. Their tacos are great, tamales a little dry but good. Margaritas are amazing and they really do pack a punch, and their beers are ice cold. Service is good, and at night on weekends they play loud music which I loved. Great atmosphere.Parking: Free parking garage or if you’re lucky right outside on the streetKid-friendliness: Little ones love the music“
“Went with a friend for lunch today. I had the birria tacos and he had a torta al pastor. The server didn't seem to speak English but we managed. The birria tacos were absolutely amazing and I can't wait to go back. Unfortunately my buddy believes he received carne asada in his torta vs the al pastor he asked for.“
“When you first walk into El Rancho, it has the typical Mexican decorative flare, with bright colors and walls textured to look like stucco. Depending on the day of the week and time you arrive, you may have to wait, but it's never for very long. (Don't even try to get into the parking lot on the evening of the Poquoson Christmas parade!) Seating is somewhat comfortable. The tables and backs of the booths are painted with beautiful scenes. The chips and salsa are wonderful, but most of the time I have to ask for the white salsa. The wait staff is very friendly, but whatever you need, you should ask for when you order your meal because you may not see the wait staff again for a while. I'm one of those people who likes having both rice and beans, but here you have to order one or the other with your meal. The food is somewhat bland compared to other area restaurants. The fajitas need a bit more flavor. And as far as pricing goes, it's probably just above average for a Mexican restaurant. I don't know how good their alcoholic beverages are because I've never had one.“
“This is the first time I have gone to this location and the experience was pleasant. I am not sure if this is contributed to Teyanna, but since she has been there, it is definitely much better. The other shift manager was always on her phone, never greeted you, never made sure the food was hot and fresh, display was always a mess and her facial expression always made you feel like she preferred you eat elsewhere. Thank you Teyanna for contributing to my experience today!“
“When walked in we were sat immediately, they took the order as soon after (we'd already looked at the menu online kinda knew what we wanted) and the food was out probably 10 or 15 min later. The food was really good. The chips n salsa was actually good too. The overall environment was relatively quiet, although it was the start of their busy hour (probably the first of 3 or 4 people there for the time of day“
“We came around lunch time on a weekday, and it wasn't busy. As you walk you are welcomed by the pretty decor. I love the colors! Got seated at our tables and was instantly greeted by a waitress. They serve chips and salsa with a guacamole sauce. I don't recommend the sauce. And it took a little while for the food to come out but when it did, I was delighted!“
“Dining room furniture uncomfortable. Was better before remodeling that took place during 2023.Wheelchair accessibility: Driveway is VERY steep and falls to offer pedestrians or wheelchair users room to stay clear of auto traffic entering from busy highway. No walkway connection between public sidewalk and location's entrances.“
“This taco bell is the best taco bell, no....the best fast food restaurant ever, hands down. I dont know what they are slipping into these doritos locos taco supremes from this joint but i crave them 24/7. And heres the best part. They aint never gone skimp ever. In fact they load these beast tacos up everytime. Plus they taste so darn good. Its the best quality dorito taco you will find.“
