We enjoyed a perfect afternoon on the lawn. Staff was knowledgeable and very accommodating. We will definitely be back to enjoy this amazing winery.
The entire Chiswell experience is one worth repeating over and over again. The scenery along the driveway alone is remarkable, but few local destinations can compare to Chiswell when it comes to mountain views from the tasting areas. The views from the main house are inspiring and can be taken in from a number of indoor or outdoor seating options. Their wines are delicious, and the tasting menu offers something for everyone. I’m a longtime local, and watched this beautiful house sit empty and unoccupied for many years. The new owners clearly took great care to preserve the historical integrity of the home as they reimagined the space to create this winery. I was so excited to get to walk inside for the first time, and Rose gives fantastic home tours! This is a really special place and has become my new #1 recommendation for anyone visiting the area.
