I’ve been to this First Watch a couple times now and it’s a professionally run restaurant where the food, drinks, and service have all been excellent each time. My son didn’t even realize it was a chain until he was there a couple times. Ha!Absolutely a great choice for breakfast/brunch. It’s smallish inside, so be prepared for a little wait.
Outstanding customer service provided by our server. Good food was wonderful, hot, and served in a timely manner. All the staff were extremely courteous. Liked the added touch of the logo imprinted into the table. Just realized that your restaurant has locations in Roanoke and Lynchburg which are both within 30 minutes of my house so we will definitely be patronizing those locations in the future. Wishing you and your staff much success in the future.
Stopped by here on a whim during a short road trip to grab something to go. Surprisingly good food and fresh!!! They were very busy but was helped right away. Food was ready in about 10 mins and packaged with care.

Highly recommend, felt light guilt free, and absolutely had an amazing time with our server Jennifer. Had the chorizo omelette on a breakfast date with some work friends. The food was good needed a little salt and hot sauce but that’s just from me most likely. Cannot speak highly enough about Jennifer and the atmosphere at the restaurant.

No wait to sit outside ? I tried the breakfast bowl. It was sooo delicious. Our waiter was very attentive & laid on the comedy. Always a great place to chill & grab food.

We had a great time here! Definitely would recommend the bloody Mary’s. We had the ham & gruyère sandwich, biscuits and gravy & donuts … shared between four people. We had very good food and very good service. The atmosphere is fun.

I really wish this location had a double check system in place. I love First Watch and more in particular my family does as well. Every Sunday we try to do online orders something is missed. I definitely give grace and they've been accommodating when messing up in person. This time in particular I used my birthday coupon. It was strange our food was foiled versus with a clear lid. I didn't want to unfoil everything in my car so trusted that everything was in the bag. Once getting home the Trifecta was missing the eggs and meat for my father. I called to explain as I live over 20 minutes away and saw that they delivered. I was told they could only deliver if I order something which is very unfortunate. Or I could get a new meal the next day. We are all trying our best but I'm writing this as this is the 3rd or 4th incident with this location. If we get takeout it'll definitely be from the newport news location.

The Hampton location is convenient for me but not my preferred location. Honestly, with the service I received last time I went to visit, I may only want to go to this location moving forward. We were seated outside pretty quickly. If you know the outside area is by a busy road so it is a bit noisy and harder to hear those at the table with you. We didn't mind it this day as we were on a time crunch. I was eager to see if they offered gluten fee French toast as I know it varies by location what they would make off the menu. The server asked if it was per allergy or preference. I let her know I was gluten intolerant, and it was per allergy and wanted to be sure they would prepare it in a safe manner. I was so happy when she told me they could accommodate this. The price was $10.99 . I added a side of fruit for $5.49. A little pricey but I was impressed with the French toast. It was tasty and now I know there is another option I can add to the list.

Our hotel food so bad that we decided to eat out. We were there early enough to avoid the rush. The staffs were friendly and the food was great. Only thing that could have been better is the coffee. It was a bit water down for my taste. Otherwise, it was a great experience. I would go back again.

So I decided to have breakfast here after checking out from the hotel and it was a great choice. So, it's Sunday...I was not expecting the restaurant to close so early but the doors technically close at 2:30. I was wondering why the dining area was so empty. However, no one rushed me to finish my meal so that was a plus. The ambiance was nice and chill..I just wanted a small taste of bacon and French toast so I purchased a kids meal and mimosa. Well that's that! Until next time...Cheers!

Best fresh juices I've ever had!! Delicious food with good portions, lovely atmosphere, and great staff/service !! Food came out quickly and my pregnant self was very happy with everything. I can't wait to come back here again :)
