Very authentic never salty food. Reminds me of my favorite restaurant in Jackson Ms, Mr. Chens, same style cooking; when family comes to town I treat them to Fortune!!

Probably the best Chinese food I've had in the area. I have a hunch their woks are as seasoned as the chef - everything is skillfully executed, with the subtle, smoky savory notes I've come to expect from a well-practiced artisan. The vegetables are consistently tender, crisp, and flavorful, with the right balance of sauce and seasoning to let the ingredients sing individually, and harmonize effortlessly into a wonderfully memorable dish. This was my first visit, but I'll definitely be back - this hidden gem has thoroughly put the likes of PF Chang's to shame, and somehow at prices and speed I'd expect from a deep-fried take-out joint.Definite must-try!

I am very sad to even write this review! After ordering from here for almost 3 years now.Normally I call and place an order for pick up. But I was being too lazy and asked my husband to put an order in through grubhub. They called us after we put our order in to let us know they were out of the lettuce cup. Which at first we truly did appreciate that!!We tried to substitute 2 things to cover the price for the lettuce cup. They told us we can only order one thing to substitute. Which was $4.00 short than the lettuce cup.Although my husband understood what the young man was saying an older lady with a thicker accent grabbed the phone and started to yell at my husband. Then she hung up on him.I stepped in and called them back and tried to calmly talk to the same lady and she EXPLODE on me too. Then told me to cancel my order. I told her I didn’t want to cancel the order. She yelled back at me and told me to cancel the order because they were NOT going to make our order. The food is great and it was one of our favorite places to eat. But unfortunately after the phone call we had, we will NEVER order from this place ever again. To the lady with the thick accent you are a very rude person and you don’t deserve to be a manager.

Not impressed. I ordered sweet and sour shrimp. Crab and asparagus soup. The shrimp was way overbattered. The fried rice very plain. The soup...eeeww. It was eggdrop with some imitation crab meat in it. You shouldn't call it crab meat if your not going to use it and I don't know what it had to do with asparagus.

I always enjoy Fortune Garden's food. They fix it just the way you like it ? And everyone that works for the restaurant is very friendly.

I ordered the cold sesame noodles and mapo tofu and was really disappointed. The sesame noodles were dry with sesame seeds sprinkled on the top. They tasted okay, but would be better if they had a sauce on them. The mapo tofu wasn’t mapo tofu. It was completely wrong. The sauce for the mapo tofu was wrong (it was a brown sauce and I couldn’t taste any doubanjiang or sichuan peppercorn), the tofu wasnt the right type of tofu, and the sauce to tofu ratio was off. If you prefer a thin, mild brown sauce, you might like this, but I was expecting a spicy, numbing sauce that typically comes with this dish. I was really hopeful of finding a good mapo tofu near where I live since it’s one of my favorite dishes.
