I popped in here on a random Monday and the service very nice. The bartender was a very nice young lady and she made some good cocktail suggestions for me and the drink she made me was very tasty. I would go back and I would definitely recommend this restaurant to other people. I had the Phoebus 75.

As a customer to have to experience an hour ticket time for our food, and to witness the owner being verbally abusive to his staff is unappealing. Not to mention he fired the best sous chef he ever had, which has led to the long ticket times. I had planned a party of 25 but now experiencing these negative encounters I will go elsewhere.

Nicely decorated, cozy, lovely place .. Attentive, caring staff .. Delicious food .. My companion said "the burger was the BEST he has ever had. Tasty and tender as butter!" So glad Cibus is in Phoebus! Hampton is lacking so terribly in quality restaurants, but thank goodness Cibus chose their Phoebus location!

My brother decided he wanted to try this place for his birthday. I call as soon as they open to make a reservation, a young lady picks up and takes down my name & amount of people in my party then confirms that 6:30 is perfect! We show up to the restaurant and some how no reservations found. I understand sometimes mistakes happen but I figured they would some how accommodate us. NOPE the young man shrugs his shoulders and told me and my family there was nothing he could do. They “were all booked up for the night” Dosent offer any help and basically left us hanging. Very disappointed in the whole process. I also wanted to ignore all the bad things I’ve been hearing about this place and see for myself but guess it’s true.

Tried this place for the first time for a work dinner and loved it!. The atmosphere, service and food were amazing. Our server was so personable it was like chatting with a friend. The steak was tender, delicious, and perfectly cooked, and I'd come back just for the Brussels and mac n cheese!
Food took a long time to come out and steak was not very tasty, bone in wings were amazing though.

Went there for dinner. Initial impression is that it is small with a nice ambiance. Our waiter was attentive and polite, pleasant to interact with. Unfortunately the food was very mediocre. We ordered six different items and only one of them was good. The other five dishes were very dry and almost stale in their textures, and flavor was mediocre. We didn't want to complain about five different dishes so when we were asked how the food was, we just mentioned that the appetizer was very dry. Two of the staff asked us how the food was and we mentioned the dry appetizer to both. Neither of them offered anything to make the experience better for us. We will not be back.

We spent a couple hours at Cibus Chophouse tonight as an Hampton Alumni Chapter! Awesome service and great food - plus good wine selections! We reserved the enclosed patio and had a great time! The wings, meatballs, shrimp and the burgers were great!

Came to dinner for a sister's night and had an awesome experience! The food was delicious, the service was fantastic, and Justin the chef went above and beyond to accommodate for a delay in our food coming out. Will definitely come again!

Great little spot - the floors are super slippery so becareful! There was a long wait to be attended to (more than 25mins after being seated), the food took quite a while and drinks could have been better. The food was well seasoned though. I am hoping they'll optimize as time goes by. Online the restaurant presents itself as more formal than it actually is - in person. Would give it another chance.
