My sandwich was delicious and huge! A typical dive bar at night/weekends. Happy hour wasn't necessarily "happy" as specials aren't really that good, but pours were pretty nice. Overall probably would not return, unless I was craving a delicious club :)

Excellent sandwiches! They always hit. That and the lead bartender(oldest) know what tunes to listen to on the pandora channel. From boars head roast beef sandwiches on sourdough to pastrami and Swiss do takeout or sit in. Best bar food. Put your money on it!

Bartender Deena is extremely rude!!! I like the establishment, but she ruins the whole vibe. She has a condescending attitude. However, I love Katie!! Best bartender around!!

Female Bartender with the tatto sleeve i think Deena is extremely rude if you don't fit a certain demographic. Would walk up and actually serve every table but ours. Would try to order more food and was practically rushing us out like other parties hadn't been there for longer. I've had two negative experiences with her on different days. Love Goody's but would walk out if i saw that was the bartender on shift. When you treat people rudely off bat that's what doesn't get you a tip fyi, we spent the night bar hopping in hampton and every other bartender we were met with was tipped 30+ percent.

Yes, it's a dive bar, and as others have said, anything could happen. But my late afternoon experience (16:00-18:00 Friday) was good. My turkey Reuben was excellent and generous. Huge pickle spear (5" and a quarter of the pickle). Great potato salad (savory, not sweet). Bartender is friendly and recommended a lager on tap which was very nice.

Cool little pub and deli. Great decor and service, and the club sandwich was piled high with meat and served with a big pickle spear, chips, and a side. Great spot!

I have visited Goodys several times. It is definitely the highlight of my they each time I visit Hampton. With the delightful Courtney behind the bar (and in the kitchen too sometimes), there is no better place to get a Reuben. The cook, Parrish, is an amazing person with a great attitude. If you're looking for the place to visit this is!!!!!
