The website is very misleading The website says the attire was business casual after 6pm, but it was not. everyone was wearing bikini's. It was hardly restaurant or bar style seating, just beach chairs around a pool. There was no assistance and seemingly no food. We paid a surprise 20 fee to get in which was irritating because the website did not mention one. I don't recommend.

We (me and 9 others) had to set-up our own tables and chairs. It's insane that they didn't have tables all around the rooftop - with UMBRELLAS. Having brunch at a rooftop pool with no shade and no seating is crazy; we were all very disappointed.

We went after work to enjoy the ambiance and have a few drinks, but learned it is geared towards a younger crowd (less than 30) and not an after work social or family friendly environment. We could barely have a conversation as the DJ kept turning the volume of the music up and only played one genre of music.

The place is beautiful at the rooftop and service is great. It's the half of shots they give you on happy hour for $9.41. I've never ever seen a whole shot that barely covers the bottom line of the cup. I guess I'll drink from my bar at home before I come. Oh and great food

Awesome Venue in downtown Hampton,VA. My family and I had my sister Bridal Shower this Saturday. The ambiance was lovely,the staff where friendly. The food was fabulous. Do yourself a favor and visit Monroe Rooftop!!!!
When I say Monroe Rooftop is the premier location if you are in Hanpton, Virginia. From the atmosphere, to the drinks and food selections down to the excellent customer service.. Everyone can feel like a VIP. DO NOT MISS OUT ON THIS HIDDEN TREASURE! !!

Very nice Atmosphere, Scenery and AuraEVERYTHING IS WAY OVERPRICED.We went out to see A band that lasted all of 30mins after that we all were entertaining ourselves!I ordered food that i never got ontop of waiting a hour we left drinks TINY for a BIG price.i think im going to chill on this place for a longgg while there's ALOT more to do for the ticket pricing ontop of buying food and drinkx!Needs alot more staff , more seating besides bringing your own lawn chair , and more menu options for a reasonable price!

Atmosphere nice, they charge $20 per person if you aren't staying at the hotel or there for a private party. Honestly it should be free entry...The pool is closed off... not sure if it's ever opened. Not much of a food menu but the chicken salad is very filling. The drinks were made good. Overall the staff is very friendly & professional. the seating is very nice too

I love Monroe Rooftop! It has to be my favorite place to go in the 757! The atmosphere is always a vibe and the service is phenomenal. In addition to that, the drinks are not watered down and you get what you paid for which makes me love the rooftop even more! I recommend you check this place out if you’re looking for a good time, sexy vibe, tasty drinks, and a well-dressed crowd!
