I think outback is gone, the building has been debranded and empty. This was kinda going downhill anyway

I used curbside pick up tonight. The customer service was amazing. The food was cooked to perfection and well done as I asked. My boyfriend and I ordered the ribs and we were in complete silence smacking on our food lol. Everything was hot and packaged well. I definitely recommend this location. Kudos to your staff Matt… excellent job tonight.

I have been going to outback for years. And the service and food certainly ebbs and flows, which is to be expected with any chain restaurant. But this time was particularly bad. The server was dismissive and unpleasant. Food came out incorrect... which would have been fine and easily remedied by the sever (I wouldn't have even complained, mistakes happen). But the fact is, we never saw the server again. Never refilled our waters. Never asked for more drinks. Never cleared our plates. Never checked on our food. So we ended up paying for the wrong food. But the most offensive thing about the whole experience was the TV above our head, was playing an advertisement for some supplemental insurance program for an hour strait (Not HSN or some late night infomercials). But an ad that obviously Outback is being paid for to show in the restaurant. Which to me is just unconscionable!!! No one goes out to a restaurant to get bombarded with ads during my dinner. Whatever corporate committee who decided that this was going to be acceptable practice in restaurants, needs to pull their heads out of their asses. SHAMEFUL. I'm seriously considering never going back again after being a regular for 20 years. It should be noted, I am easy to please too... I "waited tables" for 10 years, so I have more empathy for service industries than most. But this was on another level of bad.

I don't really have a problem with the food. It's just that when I go there for curbside. I leave my house after I get the text that your food is almost ready stay in your car. I always wait until then because I don't want to sit there and wait. So this particular night I get there, I pull up, I don't get out. I can see through the door there's about four or five orders lined up but I wait. After about 10 minutes I go in and tell him my name and of course it's sitting right there. So of course, by time I get home it's a little cold. That's the only issue I have. You leave a tip through the app for them to walk it out to your car and then you still have to go in and get it yourself. No more tips.

The steak was delicious, (Prepared as asked for ) the vegetables ( Brussels Sprouts) were new and really, really good! Service was attentive and polite. Great dining experience!

We haven't been to an OS for decades and now I remember why. Positives-*we were told our wait would be about 20 mins and it was around 25*it appeared to be clean *my blackberry martini was delicious Negatives-*absolutely no eye contact with the waitress. Those stupid tablets they have them using takes away from the human connection.*all three of us ordered our steak medium rare, we all got medium well. I did send mine back, and it was cooked correctly the second time (no compensation was offered by the manager who brought it to me).*we ordered a second loaf of bread...it never came*the king's land pasta dish that my husband and I ordered was like warm. *$87 later, not one of us was satisfied with our meal and decided it would be decades before we would ever come back again...if ever.

If you like people, and the Oppty to have really long & deep conversations with folks you go out to eat with - this is your place. Because you will wait a really, really long time for anything you order (food, drinks, to go food). So if you're coming here - sit back and prepare to have long conversations with the occasional bite of food and a beer (maybe, if you're lucky).

My husband and I came here after he got off work, for his birthday. That was late November. Jennie was our server. She was really kind. The food was good. We tried the fried macaroni bites. Those were great! My husband didn’t seem to like the Caesar salad. I think he just didn’t like the dressing. He’s not much of a salad eater though. My coffee was burnt, but we did get there 2 hours before close so I expected it might be. (I’ve been a server before so I know how things can get!) those are easily fixed issues that can happen to anyone.over all it was a good experience! We came it pretty late and were the last ones to leave. I know this can be inconvenient for the employees. We don’t normally do that. We just wanted to have a nice dinner for my husband and he got off later than usual that night. I appreciated the patience we received from Jennie and other employees. We left before close! But we were still the last ones.

Went with my husband and the waitress was nice. But our food wasn't good first the little thing of bread you get was the same size as our blooming onion. Then on to our main meal I ordered a medium steak but received a very well done where it was brown and dry on the inside. I sent it back it took a long time to receive my corrected steak my husband got the bloomin chicken and told me it was really dry and really didn't eat because he didn't like that I couldn't also eat. I would have expected better from somewhere that's not exactly cheap. Not sure if we'll come back any time soon

Well when it’s cold out, close the doors or turn the heat on. If I have to sit in a restaurant with a coat on and a beanie, I am probably not enjoying my meal?‍♂️simple customer service is gone at this location. Not completely but most of it’s gone.

Have no clue what is up at this Outback! Order online and say it will be ready at 6:31. Sounds good until you have to wait until 7:05 to get it. We tried pick up because there was a wait the last time we went in a weeknight at 5pm!!!The service has really gone down hill lately!!

Went for dinner at 5:30pm and place was not crowded. We had to wait about 10 minutes to be seated because we needed a table with wheelchair access. We ate the Outbacks Newport News location a few weeks ago and the food and service was perfect. This location did not live up to the same standards.Once seated, the server was pleasant and prompt. I would rate service as excellent. She brought our drinks within 1 minute of sitting and then took our order. We ordered the glazed pork chops and chicken on the barbie. The salads were fresh and a good mix of greens, tomatoes, onions, cucumbers and cheese. Salad was rated 5.The pork chops appeared appetizing and my dinner guest said they were good. She was disabled and I had to cut them and found them a little on the tough side. To me, they were dry and overcooked but she did not mind. Pork chops should be cooked to medium and it is perfectly safe to eat pork medium. My chicken was overcooked and dry. It was a very small thin piece of chicken breast. There was so much seasoning on it that I could not even tell it was chicken. I scraped most of the seasoning off to make it edible. The same dish I had in Newport News was moist and not overly seasoned and was a plump full sized boneless breast. The fries were too salty to eat. I was wiping the excess salt off each one I ate but they were still salty. The service and salad would definitely get a 5 star rating. The food would get a 4 if I was eating at some inexpensive diner but when I am paying almost $20 for a piece of chicken, I would expect it to be prepared correctly. I rate the food a 2 at this location due to the quality does not match the cost.

Waste of time to use the app if 35 minutes after you initially placed your order they come and ask what wings did you order and then you have to wait another 20 minutes. They didn’t even give me bread like the last time.

Service was lousy. Our server/waitress acted as if she didn't want to serve my wife and I, yet she couldn't stay away from the family of four in the booth next to us. She brought us a block of bread but we had no utensils or plates. I had to ask twice for them. Someone from the kitchen brought utensils then finally our server brought plates, inwhich one was dirty! it had gritty food stuck on food on bottom and grease smears on the front. After a LONG wait, our order came. Half of the lettuce in my Caesar salad was wilted. My wife's pork chops were as dry as a bag of pork skins. Lousy food and lousy service. I know that wait staffers do not make much and depend on tips to supplement there pay. If you want a decent tip. then provide decent service! I will never go back to the Hampton location! They don't deserve a one star!

Steak undercooked and shrimp burnt. Server definitely did not want to be here. Barley stopped by the table and didn't take away dirty dishes and never really stopped to talk.
