Typical franchise chain restaurant vibe. Guy working at the register looked like he didn't really want to be at work. Can't say I blame him. Who actually wants to work at a fast food restaurant. In Hampton, VA. Depressing. The Big Cat sandwich was as expected. Fairly tasteless fried catfish. My sweet potato fries were cold and limp. I won't be returning here.

It has been a couple of years since I’ve eaten from Skrimp Shack we decided to place an order for pick up on New Year’s Day and immediately regretted it. This was totally not worth $30. We ordered the Nashville Chicken sandwich and the chicken sandwich was so small the breast was the size of a small chicken thigh! The Flounder and shrimp po boy was a joke it was a skinny strip of flounder which only covered half of the bun the shrimp were looked like salad shrimp and were supposed to be “spicy fried” and weren’t the only reason I did 1 or 2 stars is because the Nashville sauce was good. Oh and all of the food was ice cold and had to be reheated. Order again? No thanks!

What a surprise! Forgot to take a picture except for a few grilled shrimp leftover! Great flavor and good price for seafood. Had an awesome 30 piece shrimp special for $18. Fried okra was on point as well. Went back later in the week for sample special! Highly recommended as photo doesn't do it justice!

Been a Skrimp Shack Customer for a long time now ...staff is nice . Food has always been great ..tonight I ordered the Shrimp Tacos and its the First time being Dissatisfied with them ..Over priced and presentation of tacos were not great ...not very good . Ill.still come here but not order this they need to improve if they are going to charge that much for just 2 tacos .

This is the second time I have tried this food. First time, there was a very weird bitter taste on the fish, I threw it out. Tonight after a long day work, I ordered my wife and I the small bundle, the pieces of fish they gave looks like they cut the fish filets up in 4 bite sized pieces. They called it a filet. I had shrimp with it, which shrimp were ok, but not good by any stretch. The fish is just horrible. Some bitter taste, obviously this is old frozen fish maybe even freezer burned. It is not good. They gave me a platter full of fries. Overall fish (terrible), shrimp (ok) fries ok, cold slaw and hushpuppies ok. All this for $30 dollars. My last time eating at Skrimp Shack period.

I usually order the catfish and shrimp but tried the chicken sandwich this time. It is ? they gave me some buffalo sauce on the side to put on top and it was soooo good. Every single time the food is fresh and hot because they cook it right then.
