The staff were very nice, and I really enjoyed the venue - an older house converted into a bar. Very cozy. I can't say I love their cider, though. Maybe it's just a different style of cider, but their cider felt much too sugary and not nearly as boozy as I'm used to, nor as I prefer. This is consistent across all of their ciders, including the cider I was told was the "most dry." Perhaps it's intentional, perhaps it's a regional thing, I don't know, just not my cup of tea.

Very chill, family and dog friendly. Indoor and large outdoor options with shaded seating. Great cider, regular live entertainment, rotating food trucks on site. Highly recommend ?

Fantastic cidery. The tasting bar and seating area are warm and cozy, offering bar, table, and high top seating.Service at the bar was warm, friendly, and accommodating. They featured a food truck in the back the night of our visit, and they seemed busy. The cider is 100% pure rock star quality. The flavors are as diverse as the clientele grabbing flights and full pours.Sly Clyde's expresses it's self as a spot for everyone which is a message we LOVE.Cider Highlights include:Cinnamon Donut offered the authentic aroma and flavor of the best Apple Cider Donut you've ever eaten. The pre-sip aroma fills your head with that unmistakable warm Apple Cider aroma.Imperial Pineapple was as surprising delight. The apple and pineapple flavors shine thru us a not at all too sweet and refreshing Cider. We bought a couple 4 packs of the Cinnamon Donut home to enjoy as long as they last. They also offer some fun swag for sale, including t-shirts, glassware, and more.

I love how inventive the new cider flavors are, and it's impressive how often they release them. The outdoor area is great (e.g., tents, with heaters in the winter; firepit) and everyone is friendly. We make sure to bring any visiting friends or family here because it's always an awesome time.

I discovered Sly Clyde Submersive at a painting event in Virginia Beach a few months ago and I've been talking about it ever since. I'm so happy to have finally made it to the mothership. We had a fabulous visit and we're taking home quite a haul! Hat tip to Amy for all of the knowledge about your totally faboo ciders! We'll be back!12/2023 - still a huge fan of Sly Clyde's ciders. I love the mothership, with their lovely back yard and scrumptious food trucks. As I live 2 hours away, I wish it were more available to me locally. I love trying the new seasonal flavors they always have available. Maybe one day, I'll live close enough to be a regular.Cheers, Sly Clyde! ?

Ive been coming here for a few years and it’s our favorite spot to bring friends. Their ciders are amazing. They always have music outside, food trucks and plenty of space. I’ve recently stopped drinking and I was hoping I could still enjoy going here with my wife, the staff allowed me to bring 0.0 abv hop water in so I could still enjoy my time their and they said they supported my choice. Couldn’t ask for a better experience this weekend. Hopefully they see this review and know I am thankful.

While dining at Blue Talon Bistro in Williamsburg on my last trip, I discovered Sly Clyde Ciderworks. On this trip, we made an effort to stop by Sly Clyde Ciderworks. They had 10 ciders on draught and a rotating slushie. I liked how you could either get a pint of one cider or a flight of four ciders. If you didn't like either of the $14 flights they have, you may customize one to your liking for an additional $2. My fiancé had a pint of 1. Submersive, which was dry, earthy, appley, and subtle. I enjoyed the custom flight of 3. Inkjet (Blackberry and Mint), 5. Summer Salvo (Imperial Pineapple), 6. Carnivale (Honey and Apricot), 8. Dough Buoy (Cinnamon Donut). I love mint, but 3. Inkjet was a bit too minty for me. The 5. Summer Salvo was clean, sweet, fruity, and refreshing. The 6. Carnivale was light, sweet, fruity, and balanced. The 8. Dough Buoy was sweet, spiced, and candy-like. It was hard to pick a favorite because the last three I had were all good. If I had to pick one, it would be the 6. Carnivale. Before leaving, I purchased a teal Sly Clyde Ciderworks t-shirt!
