The food was fresh and hot. Portions are large, and the atmosphere is family oriented. Beautiful waterfront dining with lots of yachts.Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant is wheelchair accessible.

The waitress was the best! She was very accommodating even allowing us to taste the Soup that was not Sea Crab without us asking. We thought too much like vegetable tasting and not enough crab, but without asking she allows us to try it! Shrimp Po Boy delicious ?Parking: Directly in Marina

The crab dip and tuna bites were ?! I eat all over the world, and these may have been the best I've ever had! The platter was delicious as well. The waitress was nice but SLOW, but the food made up for it.

Best fried seafood, really did not feel guilty about eating all fried because it was not greasy, nice light, and crispy, delicious.

Mixed reviews on food. There were 2 of us. The fried clam appetizer was great as were the fried oysters. However the fries that came with were just barely warm. The blackened rockfish was way overcooked. No mixed bag on the service- it was awful. I should mention there were only 3 tables when we arrived and yet service was very very slow.

Was looking forward to going, but wound up being disappointed. Went for Sunday lunch, and there was a wait, but that wasn't a worry. However, my salad was forgotten and brought just after my meal when I asked about it. I was told that the salad bar was baked up, even though we'd been there for over half an hour since ordering. We ordered clams on the half shell. They were not cut from the shell, and very difficult to eat due to that. The main meal was okay, but lacked flavor. I do expect a better experience when the bill is over $120 for 3 people to have lunch.

Service was prompt and excellent; atmosphere was not as noisy as it has been on past visits perhaps due in part to smaller crowd on a weeknight but also maybe some structural remodeling which may be helping with noise level. The major disappointment of the evening was the food, the quality of which has declined since our last visit some time ago. For $95 (which did include a $20 tip for the good service) we ordered the crab cake dinner with tossed salad and baked potato and the fried oyster dinner with cole slaw and French fries. The cole slaw was satisfactory, the fries were tasty. Oysters were okay but on the small side. The tossed salad was limp, the baked potato over cooked and mealy. The crab cakes were a major disappointment- very little seasoning and having the texture of a crab croquette. No lump crab discernible and nearly tasteless with an odd consistency. We ordered ice tea to drink - no alcohol - and for this mediocre meal we paid $95. We won't be making that mistake again and do not plan on any return visits to the Surfrider in Hampton.
