We ordered delivery this evening. Food was 15 minutes late and cold. For the price we paid it should have been at least warm. The flavor of the food was very good but cold. The delivery guy didn't even have the food in a insulated pizza bag.

Don't even bother wasting your money the food is horrible there. I ordered chicken Alfredo with broccoli and took two bits and threw the rest in the trash I was so pissed. It tasted like pasta out of a can with absolutely no flavor what so ever.

This was THE WORST FOOD. We ordered Chicken Alfredo and it was disgusting. 'Could not even taste the parmesan cheese...only a bland cream sauce "wannabe". Giving it a single star only because the salad was fresh at least. But they could not even give us the right salad dressing we ordered. No exuse. NEVER AGAIN. WHAT A RIP-OFF!

We love Francesco's. Since it's only about a 20-minute walk from our house, we often go there--even after considering driving to one of Harrisonburg's other great restaurants. We usually order pizza, and no other pizza place we've visited in any of our travels catch match their crust: chewy, crispy, and just a little bit sweet. The tomato sauce is rich and tangy, and we always get our our fave five: spinach, roasted red peppers, red onions, feta, and fresh tomatoes. Occasionally, we go for the burgers: thick and juicy on excellent buns, accompanied by crunchy onion rings or fluffy-on-the-inside-crispy-on-the-outside fries. If we're feeling virtuous, the salmon salad always satisfies.
What's not to like? It's all real Italian food, with real authentic Italian taste, and affordable for anyone on a medium budget!

Unfortunately I had a dreadful experience this evening. I ordered online, and asked for their fried calamari, and their veal parmesan. Their calamari was inedible. They had a thick smell, like bad fish, which immediately made me worried. The calamari were thin, discolored, and absolutely rock hard. I still attempted to try one, but couldn't even chew through it. The bit I managed to taste was absolutely horrendous. I posted a picture to show you how unappetizing they were. It did not come with lemon like it stated online (perhaps it was just forgotten?). As for the veal, I ordered online and it gave me the option of selecting which pasta I wanted on the side. I selected penne, yet the order I received came with spaghetti. Not usually a huge deal, just another annoyance after the bad calamari without lemon. The pasta sauce was fine, and the pasta itself was ok. The veal was a veal steak, not ground like some places use, which I like. However, after I got about halfway through I started noticing a strange after-taste. It was like the veal was good, but may have sat out all day and was on the verge of turning bad. I only made it halfway through and I put it in the garbage. The best thing about the dinner was the salad, with fresh lettuce and veggies... my only complaint about that was it was really tiny, and I was hungry after not being able to finish my meal.
