My boyfriend got me some of the Caldo de pollo soup when I was sick. It was so good and made me feel better. Highly recommend the soup and everything else I have tried is delicious!

This is truly the best Mexican food in Harrisonburg. Everything is so fresh and delicious and the staff is always so nice and wonderful. This is my favorite place to get food. Please do yourself a favor and try this place out if you haven’t!
The reviews are accurate. This place is a hidden gem. The food is authentic Mexican and its delicious. The staff is friendly and welcoming as well. My husband got the burrito supreme which he loved, our daughter ordered the quesadilla with barbaqoa, and our son ordered the torta with carne asada which they both loved. I ordered the queso birria tacos and tried both red and green tamales. All were delicious. Being Mexican myself and having eaten at many mexican restaurants around this country this reminded me most of a home cooked meal. The food was very clean. It wasn't overly greasy and you didn't leave feeling like you ate something heavy. The bathroom and the store was also very clean which is a rarity in a gas station. We were just passing through but we will definitely be back during future trips through Virginia.
So I am from out of town working here on a construction project. All I have to say is that I wish I had known about this place 4 weeks ago. The food is amazing, I will be going back for the rest of my time in town. I can't wait for tomorrow to sample more of the menu. The pork is on point, and so wonderfully tender and flavourful the carne asada has awesome flavor. If you're not giving these folks your business, you are just plain wrong. Good prices, great food. I would post a picture, but it was so good that there wasn't time.

This place is a great pit stop. You get gas here, Mexican and American snacks and a whole Mexican variety of foods you can pick from. They have quesa birria tacos!! And they have a taco Tuesday for cheaper tacos as well. They are family and the service is pretty great. I love coming in there. The ambiance is pretty great too they are pretty welcoming there and are happy to help.

One of the top Taco spots in Harrisonburg with a delightful staff. I've never left disappointed and the quesobirria tacos with the broth insanely good. They do a bunch of different foods and it's all homemade recipes. Tacos, Tamales, Burritos, Quesadillas, Carnitas, Tortas, Menudo, Croissant breakfast sandwiches or bagels, egg rolls, chicken legs, Chile rellenos, and much more.

In town to go to a JMU event. This place has Awsome food. Had the queso birra tacos. Best tacos I've had in a long time. Highly recommend trying it out. Dont let the gas station fool you. Its a taco and food place that sells gas, not the other way around.

Comida mexicana auténtica! Authentic mexican food! You need to try it! The tacos are awesome and the tortillas are homemade so it's just out of this world. Call ahead if you don't want to wait, though the wait is not bad, they are fast, friendly and plus the store has many snacks.
Stopped by around 10pm on a Tuesday. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Even though they had already started to close the kitchen they still had meat left to make me a batch of their quesabirria tacos. The tacos are filled with generous portions of tender and flavorful meat, the cheese is melted just right, and the texture of the tortillas are perfect! Also, the tacos came out quite fast so if you're in a hurry and need a quick bite I'd give this hidden gem a try. This is definitely my new go-to place for tacos and will for sure be returning in the near future.

A great spot for a quick bite with authentic flavor. They have reasonable prices, plus it is a gas station so they have the odd necessities you may need. They also have some cool Mexican candies you can't find anywhere else. The people here are really nice.

I go to Costco in Harrisonburg frequently. I kept noticing an Exxon station with a sign... Mexi-Deli. This was the height of Covid and was happy to see masks. My first dish is now my almost only dish. Quesobirria... cup of consommé, Yum! I love everything I've tried, chili relleno, tacos, burritos.... But dang the Quesobirria tacos are amazing! There are so many loyal customers that are greeted in such a friendly way! I have told so many people and the ones that finally go, say to me, "l love it!" Yes, you can sit inside or outside with a table and umbrella. Let me know what you think.
