I came to this restaurant many times. I always order the Chicken Fajita Every time I came, I got different tests.

First of all, the ambiance of this restaurant with the beautiful lighting and fun music, made a delightful entrance. Seating was quick. Our waiter, Tony, was fun, energetic, prompt and caring. He brought us extra napkins when he saw us in need!! He was also accommodating when the sun was blazing in our eyeballs, and moved us to a shaded table. He complimented our Spanish pronunciation as well! We ordered some drinks and they were STTTRONGGG, which we approve of. Food was beautifully presented and delicious. We feel the dip could have had more heat and less salt. Our ankles will be bloated from the salt intake tomorrow. Food portions are large and we are very thankful for the leftovers! Will definitely return!

Great LARGE restaurant with a LARGE menu. Could benefit from some more staff (what place doesn't these days, right?) The menu alone could keep you coming back to try unique (to Harrisonburg) menu items. Highly recommend.

My friend and I came to tequila modern last evening to celebrate national margarita day. We arrived shortly after 7. When we walked in there were two staff members at the front. We stood there for roughly 5 minutes and neither of them greeted of. Finally a man who looked to be the manager seated us. We placed one drink order as well as our food order. Our waiter was so inattentive, slamming our food and drink done. Did not come to check on us and when he did he did not ask us if we wanted or needed anything else. We had to constantly request refills as well as a box to go. When he arrived to our table he completely forgot the box as well as anything else we had requested at that time. I was so disgusted in the disrespectful treatment we received. The table directly across from us was seated had drinks and refills on their table and was even brought their ticket to cash out before we were and they were seated well after we had already arrived. Me and my friend have both been to tequila modern before and I assure you it only takes one horrible experience to not ever go back. Some business owners should remember we as consumers has an abundance of places especially Mexican restaurants in our area where we can take our patronage and moving forward I won’t be back to tequila modern. The customer service was horrific or lack there of. Each of your customers that walk through your door should be treated with equal amount of respect. That was not displayed at tequila modern. I wouldn’t bother recommending this place to anyone. El Paso in Elkton and El Charro in Harrisonburg are much more viable options with WAY better customer service.

The food tasted like there was way too much salt poured in it. None of us enjoyed the food. And please turn the music down some!

I saw this place on facebook so I had to make the drive to check it out. It did not disappoint. Walking in I was amazed at how beautiful it was. The decor was on point. The menu had so many options and so did the drink menu.I tried the margarita flight and it was delicious. My go to order is usually the arroz con pollo with peppers and onions. This was the smallest portion I have ever had at any restaurant I’ve tried it. They barely had any queso on it but the flavor was good. One of my kids had the chicken and cheese burrito and it looked so good. My other child ordered the birria tacos and she loved them. My friend ordered the burrito bowl and hers looked amazing. I 10/10 would go here again and try something else.

Ok so I am Mexican, and I am 61 years of age, so I know the true and good Mexican dinning. Not much in this valley is worth eating at when looking for Mexican food, though I have to say. This place takes the number 1 for not cool!! Meaning good food"" sure they will give big portions why not. All it is getting is chips, sauce and rice!!I can start off with the fact that Mexican food is nothing like this. I won't be nasty about the meals we receive but although I can promise any one that this is no Mexican cuisine. I never seen or taste it something that smell it tasted such the items out of their kitchen. I personally will not be going back . No offense but I can only assume, if you have not ever had true authentic ethnic food? I guess you would accept their standers and favor, looks, presentation and specially taste, I guess any one that gets a basket full of chips and sauce and for their main course. Rice and refried beans!!

This place has awesomely priced specials and the best atmosphere of any restaurant in the area. Shout out to the excellent employees, especially Adair who was exceptional. Refreshing drinks and delicious food await, I highly recommend.
