I dined in and got kicked out for no reasoned because the “bouncer” who happened to be gay kicked us out. We were two patrons who were happy to provide service. However this small business discriminated against two white straight males. I guess welcome to 2024…

Good food, good service, good music. An employee decided to make some side money with my credit card, 100% sure this is where the info was stolen. I wrote to the email address on the website, but no response. Shame one bad employee can ruin an otherwise good experience, and I'd think the owners would want to nip that in the bud. Had they responded to the email they could have probably figured out which employee it was and taken action. So be aware using credit at this establishment, I'd walk with the server and stand over them as they process the transaction.

Every time I come here, the people are always great. Fast food service and prices are decent for drinks. If you love listening to music loudly, this is a great place to go. If you enjoy the quietness, I recommend coming before night falls.

Went for breakfast. The waiter sat us and asked if we wanted to start with anything besides water. We said sure some coffee would be great and he didn't come back for 20 minutes. We just left. There were 4 tables and a few people at the bar. So it wasn't crowded. Unsure what was going on, but not a great first time visit.

The Golden Pony is the goldest and poniest place in the universe.

Went for Sunday brunch for the first time in about a year and it wasn't so great. I kind of got the ick just sitting there waiting on our food because the cleaning just didn't seem up to par and a few things concerned us. The mimosa flutes were cloudy and had fruit pulp stuck on the inside, we saw a waitress wipe a table with a napkin that the customer left on the table instead of a cleaning solution, and overall there was a strange smell upon walking in, it smelled as if something had soured. The food was okay, nothing to write home about. Previously we would come all the time to have brunch and never noticed these things. The breakfast potatoes were pretty good and the waiter was kind and pretty attentive and didn't nickel and dime us for an extra cup of hot tea or a slice of bread. We will give it another try at some point.Parking: There are a few spots available out back, but possibly where employees park, none were open despite there being very few customers inside. There are a few parallel parking spots out front, but not many and they are typically occupied. Lastly, there is a parking garage a few yards away.

We were on a bar crawl and I THINK this is where we did most of our hanging out - it was the end of the night lol They had some excellent shooters and the other drinks were great too! The back deck atmosphere was exactly what we needed at the end of our crawl and appreciate the experience for sure!

This place has a great atmosphere, good food, drinks, and friendly service; however, be prepared to spend two plus hours sitting in this restaurant. Expect 20 some minutes to order your food and another 30 plus minutes to get it. This is when it is not busy. This has been Golden Pony’s normal for years, pre and post pandemic. I don’t understand why this is the case because staff is always super friendly and wants to be helpful. I have never been to an establishment that makes it so hard to spend my money.I still recommend this restaurant, but be prepared to be patient. My experience with Golden Pony is honestly upsetting because it seems so close to greatness. The consistently slow service every single time I’m there is baffling.

No vegan options during brunch, although they were able to accommodate us with an option from the online menu. It’s a very slow-paced environment so don’t expect for a quick turnaround.Being seated took 10-15 mins, getting coffee/drinks took +20 mins, and then getting the food took about 30 mins although the place was pretty empty… and two of the four orders were incorrect. Not the worse if you want a place to lounge, wouldn’t recommend if you’re hungry or have other things planned.Dietary restrictions: Would not recommend if you have dietary restrictions.
