That was the most ordinary pork bbq platter I’ve had in a long time. The pork barely had a hint of having been on a smoker. No oomph flavor. One jug of nondescript bbq sauce on the table. Six prefrozen small hush puppies were one side. Thick farmer fries tasted fresh maybe 10. A jigger sized coleslaw was complimentary. $31 for two adults b4 tip.It just feels like their former boulevard location had bbq menu with more flavor pizzazz. We were in the area so gave them a shot during lunch. For the money a better value and awesome flavor is to be had with local Meat Wagon BBQ or a 45 minute drive to Pierces in north Williamsburg.

$24 for a mediocre brisket lunch seems a little steep.

We went to Buzz & Ned's to get take out on Saturday April 5th @ 646pm. The restaurant was extremely crowded the staff was overwhelmed. After nearly an hour we received our food. We got home after 8pm after the restaurant was closed. My son had a large piece of what looked to be plastic in his beef ribs it had to be pulled out of the meat. Totally gross. My wife's $18.95 brisket sandwich on had 2 small slices of meat on the bun. My entrée was fine but my 2 premium sides I paid extra for were not edible worst onion rings & fried okra I ever had. I called to talk to the general manager on Monday she thought the mysterious object in my son's food was a piece of brush used for coating bbq sauce after I sent her the pictures she thought it was saran wrap. She apologized then offered to refund the order or make the order correctly. It wasn't about the money so we agreed to do a replacement order. As I approached the restaurant to pick up the replacement order the general manager informed me the owner instructed her to tell me to go home & dig out the ribs my son threw in the trash then bring them back to the restaurant. I was shocked & angry I was going to bring the dirty tray back to the restaurant then place it @ the bar but I thought better of it after I took his uneaten meal out of the trash. The health department can handle the situation better and protect future customers. I will never return to Buzz and Ned's I wouldn't recommend it to anyone else based on their lackadaisical attitude about foreign objects in food & poor food quality. This use to be our go to spot for bbq. I would recommend the flying pig if you are in Chesterfield or one of their sitter restaurants Wood & Iron.

This was a quick visit near closing time for a lite meal. The wait and service was fast being 45 minutes to closing so we ordered a sandwich meal and the food was good. This was our first time visiting this restaurant and we didn't have much time to give a proper review, so a revisit is in the future.

It’s probably the only place I’ve ever ordered ribs and not felt like I overpaid. Collard greens and Mac n cheese are fantastic.

My daughter wanted to eat here after seeing this restaurant on the food network. Service and atmosphere was wonderful. The food was good. We had baby back ribs, brisket sandwich, and pulled pork bbq. I say it’s good because it’s nothing special. It is tender, needs more flavor, and the portion size is very very small. So for the price the portions are not equal.Parking: Lots of space, free parkingKid-friendliness: Nice kid menu

I ordered 3.5 lbs of their Beef Brisket with sauce on the side and 3 lbs. of their Bourbon Cinnamon Apples to serve at my Easter Lunchon along with my other food items. I have to compliment the chef, the Brisket was so favorable, tender and juicy and the Apples were absolutely delicious! Everyone at my Easter Lunchon enjoyed every bite! I definitely will be coming back again!

Buz and Ned's used to be the best BBQ I had ever tasted. Big black guys behind the counter cutting up that delicious smoked meat. I haven't been here in about 2 years. Until today. It's horrible. The food has zero flavor. The black guys behind the counter are gone. The service was good, the server very pleasant but the food was absolutely flavorless. I asked if there was a new owner but the server said no, it's still Buzz. The only difference I see from 2 years ago to now is who's doing the cooking. A kitchen full of Hispanics. What do they know about BBQ??? Where my big black dudes who put love into every bite? So very very sad.
