The Buddha Bowl was awesome. I got it with grilled tofu.
Lots of options and great service!

Temple bacon and avacodo, tomatoes and lettace sandwhich..great combo and taste but very very dry. The side of brussel sprouts, although the meal states it has cheese and balsamic etc and some other ingredients..my side came in a nice size soup bowl with no hint of anything but brussel sprouts dry charred on the outside and stiff...neither of us could eat them..terrible but not near as bad as my friend found a thick black band of rubber or plastic used to hold vegetables together in her bowl....manager explained what it was and felt her explanation was good enough for us to be accepting after all it was part of the vegetable bunch....rubber or plastic.. is that vegetarian? Both meals were comped her outward behavior indicated she did not feel this was acceptable..Not noticing my full bowl of inedible brussel sprouts (my favorite veggie) and the portion of sandwhich left. I felt sick....an enjoyable experience, it was not. Beautiful place, great service but food needs improvement...add some flavor but no rubber or plastic...what other attention to detail is missing in preparing your food?

Half chicken, salmon, steak, and pizza were all perfectly cooked and flavorful. We were all sharing the food with each other because food was so good. Service was fast and friendly.

Mixed greens, carrots, peppers, tomatoes, chickpea without feta. Lemon vinaigrette and almonds.

Basic food was just lacking in execution. Burger had no flavor, chopped salad was the same and the steak was tough, bland and over cooked. Fries were cold and dry. I had a better salad and fries from Chickfila the day before. Struggling to want to go there again...
Excellent meal and service. Only problem was a disconnect between the server and those who delivered the food. A little comical passing the meals to the correct people. We were a party of seven.

The service was terrific. Max our server was excellent. He is very knowledgeable about the local restaurant scene which we appreciate as we are new to Richmond. His recommendations were spot on. The food was excellent as was the beer selection. One of our best finds since moving to this foodie capital.

Really nice menu with lots of offerings for most anyone, including vegetarian and gluten-free. Food was yummy. Server admitted that it was her first night and completely seemed like it. She left our dirty plates etc on the table and just had a kind of lackadaisical attitude in general. Still it was a good meal and I would give it another try.
Buddha Bowl was absolutely outstanding. For the price charged for glass of wine, my pour was a little low and my water glass was either scratched or not very clean (hard to tell) for the caliber of the restaurant. Otherwise would have given 5 stars. Service was great. Love the decor.
Took my girlfriends family, and my mom out to brunch. We all enjoyed ourselves; had some tasty appetizers and drinks. We ordered some incredible banana bread that comes with a delicious spread.
