The original pollo place in Herndon before they started popping up everywhere. You cant't beat the lunch special: 1/4 chicken, rice, salad, drink and chips and salsa for under $10 (including tip). I also get the pollo saltado which is really good.

Extremely bad customer service. I ordered a half chicken meal and it should come half a chicken. However, when I opened my box at home, it only had 2 small legs. I called them and they pretended to not understand "English". No apologies and they just hung up on me. I will NEVER go to this place again.

This place was recommended to us. So we thought we give it a try. We went in about 8:30 and no one was in there! We were greeted and told to sit anywhere we like. Place was clean, outdated but that's okay. It felt like grandmas kitchen so we did not mind that it wasn't fancy, more like home. My mother and I shared 1/2 chicken with yucCA fries and salad. We were also served chips and salsa before our food order. Chips and salsa yummmmmmy! Food was served rather fast. Chicken was yummy Better yet everything was good. You also had a choice of 3 house dressing for the chicken. I enjoyed the green and yellow one the orange was to hot for my mouth. Server was at first what's the word maybe tired/down. But after telling him this was our first time and how wonderful the chips and salsa were he started to change his tune. He was nice to our son and started to joke around with him and was making him laugh. Maybe earlier he had a bad table, one can understand but I am happy he saw we were happy to be there and super polite. Maybe made his long night better. IN all we were happy with everything. I did notice I couldn't stop eating the chicken. Lol The meal was great 1 order fed all 3 of us. And price was great $14 bucks we even took our left overs home! Give this place a try We recommend
