This Pupusas Express is one of my go-to dine in spots in Herndon. The team here is always attentive at helping out. The wings are super crispy and well seasoned without additional sauce. The plantains are always served ripe with a side of beans and crema. The pupusas here are filled with your filling of choice and never greasy. Would recommend
First time here and we really enjoyed the food. Not an expert on pupusas, but these were very tasty and they were doing a strong business with customers who probably were better judges than us. Also tried the shrimp ceviche which was loaded with shrimp and very good. Definitely easy on the wallet. We'll be going back.

Overall we were quite pleasantly surprised. Food was quite good, and the service was fine. I'm not that familiar with Salvadoran cuisine, but had stumbled upon a great place in DC 2 years ago. We went back and that provided today's visit.Next time I'll ask more questions, especially what sauces go with what, though it's all to personal taste and preference. We'll be back.
Had the chicken tacos and my wife had the steak tacos. Absolutely ? delicious. Definitely going back. And they make the tacos fresh from scratch.

Gentlemen of PUPUSA EXPRESSI am a frequent customer of your restaurant, the quality of food is very good.But this time I ordered 10 pupusas, 3 different orders.But they placed them all TOGETHER IN THE SAME CONTAINERThat is not like that.Because the pupusas are hot and now they are all so hot that they can't even be taken out one by one.
The food is acceptable, the place is good, but the boy who serves does it so reluctantly that he doesn't even say bon appetit, he just throws the food at you, you should talk to him...

The manager is an excellent person, as well as the people who serve you at the store, however, the people who deliver are so rude and poorly behaved. I left 20% tip on my order, however, the person who made the delivery told me that to Next time I'm going to bring it, he has a specific amount to be a delivery, what kind of customer service is that disappointing, leaves a lot to say with the team that delivers

Ordered for delivery, arrived 10 minutes early of the minimum delivery time of 40 minutes so nothing one could complain about there. Had tacos salvadoreanos and typical pork, bean and cheese pupusas and we both loved it. Great slaw and great sauce combined with a generous portion of meat in both options. Will definitely be back.
