Staff (owner?) was welcoming and the service was fast. Atmosphere is bleak, with dusty junk all around. Beer list is just a couple of American lagers. Food is the same quality as a roadside stand.

If there is a better hamburger than Earl's in Hillsville/Galax area, I haven't found it.
Not open for breakfast, which seems really weird for a diner. Really decent lunch though, and great prices. Waitress was friendly.

Stopped there on my way to North Carolina. Great place. The food was good and the waitress very friendly!! It was like I stepped back in time to an old fashioned luncheonette. Loved the atmosphere!!

Had a wonderful meal with my wife and son. The cheeseburger is a fantastic choice with onion rings! The corn nuggets were great along with the salad and chicken tenders.
