The food was unexpectedly quite good.Service keen, a little too rushed.Very affordable.The seats in the booths have seen better days. They may be the originals when the restaurant opened.The fake leather is ripped exposing old and yellowed foam. This has to be fixed! Looks dirty and ugly.

We will not return to this establishment. I am not normally one to complain, but the food and service we received here was not good at all, especially for the price. First, we came in at around 3pm and we were assigned a server who was about to clock out, so she did not really want to wait on us. I don't blame her as I know how hard serving is, especially considering the low pay. Nonetheless, even though the restaurant was not busy, it took over 15 minutes just to place an order and, even after that long, we were never assigned a server. My steak tacos, when they finally arrived, were extremely dry and they charged for extra limes, even though they did not give me the sauces the dish was supposed to have. My wife got the ACP with onions added, and they charged extra for adding onions, so we ended up paying more for that meal than the ACP Fajita, even though the ACP comes with tortillas, peppers, and tomatoes. We normally tip quite well. This time, we did not tip and we told the person checking us out that we did not tip because we were never assigned a server, therefore, the service was not good, and his response was to slam the cash register drawer and act rude. For your money, you are better off going to El Torrito in Galax or Cinco De Mayo in Fort Chiswell. This was the third time we have dined here and, while the service was okay on those other occasions, the food was less than average everytime, which is a shame because it has great potential!

I went to bar. 15 min later I got my own menu. Then I had to ask for a drink menu.I am traveling so I needed food and this was the best rated in town. But ratings are based on experiences. I have had amazing margaritas and Mexican food.I asked for a top shelf margarita. It was all triple sec which destroyed the tequila. No special drinks. I guess I should have realized . But I paid for it.I had to remind them of my order. ( To go salad came as eat in and it wasn't what I ordered and didn't end up what I ordered when I got back to hotel. )Carne Asada taco was ok. So that worked.Won't wander off the beaten path now based on reviews. ?
