The Hillsville Diner is a town treasure and has been a much loved eating establishment for several decades. I got a bacon cheeseburger and French fries this trip. The hand-patted burger was cooked just right and was juicy and flavorful. The generous serving of golden French fries were delicious. The atmosphere is friendly and casual. They have many plate lunch options with a variety of sides along with sandwiches, burgers and hot dogs. They have phenomenal country breakfast until 10, too.

My 1st visit today. Service was good. I had 1 egg, biscuit with gravy and 2 patties of sausage. ($9.99) Over easy egg was cooked correctly. Gravy was from a mix. It was okay. Sausage was pre-formed. I was expecting better for 10 bucks.

Excellent food & service at a little small town diner that probably looks the same as it did 50 years ago! Locals chatting over coffee, out of town visitors or just passing through on a road trip- friendly service & freshly made to order.

Very nice, classic Americana, relaxing, with good food. As per usual, we showed up with doggos in tow. The staff graciously let us sit on the (closed at the time) patio and served us out there. Will definitely eat here again when I am next in the area.

Everything was good, but it's so funny that I don't eat pork due to religious reasons and their entire menu is pork, bacon, and ham. LolLearning about American culture over here. ?
Great dinner for breakfast. The server was very friendly with great service. My plate was excellent and very tasty.
This little historic diner is precious. The staff is super friendly and the food is decent and well priced.
