Overlooking the confluence of the Appomattox and James Rivers, the view from the boathouse is pretty sweet. The food and service are pretty great but best of all, dogs are allowed on the patio! Please don't bring them though if they are ill tempered. This is a restaurant after all!

Mel and Gracie were awesome bartenders and the food and drinks were delicious as always! Sitting at the outside bar by the river on the prettiest day so far this spring was just what we needed!
Second time around. Drove an hour and again, wasNot disappointed. Jazlyn totally gets rated a 20+ for her personality and service. Very pleasant young lady.

Jen, and Amanda were stellar. 2 or so years ago, we had a bad experience that resulted in a 2 star review that I have since deleted.The entire team under the leadership of Amanda, has become more attentive, and customer focused.As a result in the management, We are now becoming regulars to our local waterfront restaurant.As a side note, Bailen is the best oyster shucker in the region...He fully cleans, and opens the oysters.We are super happy to see the positive changes on this restaurant
