“I went here on accident. I was looking for an event. These guys bent over backwards to help me out and get me to the place I was looking for. Being from way out of town I'm sorry I didn't have more time to stay. I love the concept and the grounds are impeccable. Food smelled wonderful and the hospitality is top notch.“

“While the service at the hotel and the restaurant were superb, I unfortunately was a little disappointed with my meal. We visited for a friend's birthday and I have a shellfish allergy and am pregnant, so I could not eat any raw or unpasteurized foods either. I have the restaurant notice of this weeks in advance and anticipated a custom menu that would meet my needs. Unfortunately, once we were seated I was asked if I could just opt-in to the vegetarian menu. I was taken back a bit and said yes, but honestly was extremely disappointed because I had been looking forward to this experience for months and instead of getting any protein with my meal, I was encouraged to eat the vegetarian menu, which featured multiple items that I simply do not enjoy (like beets and mushrooms). One of the dishes was a raviolo and despite my dietary restrictions, the egg yolk in the middle was fully raw. Additionally, our waiter substituted in one meat main course for me, which I was glad for, but my duck was the most rare at the table, so I could not eat it. Overall, my party enjoyed their meal, but it is not the best restaurant we have ever been to and it was extremely disappointing that my needs weren't actually accommodated when an above and beyond experience is expected from a three-star establishment. Quite honestly, if the hotel experience and afternoon tea and breakfast wouldn't have been included, I probably would have rated this lower.“

“My son and I stopped by for lunch (the burger and steak sandwich was delicious) and left with even more food. We picked up the fantastic donuts and apple fritters. It was great looking around the store, and we picked more than a few trinkets, sauces, and stickers. We will be back soon.“

“My wife and I stopped in to avoid the chain restaurants. We were immediately surprised to find how clean it was and how friendly the staff was. Andy, our server was awesome and had a great personality and attitude towards helping everyone, and I mean everyone! The food was fantastic and big portions. I will go out of my way to eat here again.“

“What an amazing experience! We love how it was encouraged to try different flavors, and if you asked for vanilla or chocolate the rule was ‘you had to try at least 3 flavors first’. All 3 were very welcoming and personable, in lieu of us being a large group. We also had a very nice conversation with the owner and enjoyed hearing on how he gives back to the community, wishing we could be here for the crawfish festival on Mother’s Day weekend! The shop was quaint and cozy with the decorations from all the different customers. Everything was homemade and delicious and highly recommend checking this place out if you’re in the area. “I came here today for the first time with my husband. As soon as you walk in you can smell the sweet baked goods in the air ?. The owners are lovely and friendly. Everything looked so delicious ?. I was even surprised they had baked goods made with Tim Smith's moonshine. I love watching Moonshiners and of course had to get the Apple Blossom Moonshine cake. We walked out of there with a bag full of goodies. The Joe Tea Mango flavor was a great suggestion from the owners. My husband loved the iced tea far better than any other brand he's tried. We will definitely be coming back. Thank you both for being so welcoming and helpful ?“

“First timer here. After hearing many glowing remarks about the Apple cider donuts at this establishment, I made the 1.5 hour drive out to Linden, VA. Walking in, it reminded me of your classic general store on steroids. There was a little bit of everything from signs with cute sayings to a variety of hard ciders from across the state. There are two areas where you can order food. Head to the right where it is less crowded and sit at the bar. I went with the staff's suggestion and ordered the Grilled Cheese sandwich with Brie, bacon & apricot jam with a balsamic glaze that came with French fries. That bacon jam was so good that I ended up walking away with two jars. The apple donuts lived up to the glowing reviews and I could see why people make the drive for these treats.“

“This is the place to be in Front Royal! The rotating in-house brewed beers are flavorful, and are just one of the reasons we come back here week after week. The food is delicious, we highly recommended the burgers and the cheesecake. The entire staff is friendly and welcoming, especially Maddie, and they know their stuff. Vibrissa is worth the drive to come and check this place out.“

“Great service. And genuinely nice people. We showed up on a Saturday morning on a whim with 6 people. 2 lovely gentlemen moved so we could be seated together. It was much appreciated. We enjoyed our breakfast and the relaxed atmosphere. We'll definitely be back.“

“Homemade soul food prepared fresh! Great space with a bar that showed the Super Bowl. Howard (manager) runs the place with his cousin (chef) and deliver exceptional customer service!Ordered the fresh fried Catfish and it was seasoned very well and full of flavor and tender meat. “Grandma's breakfast for me and my grandson got the French toast with fruit, it looks like a dessert (I can't remember the name of the dish). Both meals were delicious, our waitress was very friendly and made recommendations when asked.“

“We went for lunch on a sunny Saturday. All that was available outside was a table without an umbrella, which we took. But when an umbrella table opened up we were switched. Just one example of the superb service. Both the curry chicken and pulled pork were excellent. Best Pommes Frites ever. Beautiful setting. And dog friendly outside!“

“This place was renamed years ago The Blue Door. I dont know why Google hasn't kept up. It's a lovely old building, once one of the county's neighborhood schools before all the county schools were incorporated into one location. It has since been turned into a restaurant and inn. I've not stayed there, as I live in the area, but I have eaten there and recently threw a party there in one of the dining rooms. The decor is modern and serene. The service is friendly but non-intrusive. The menu features local and seasonal fare, so it changes from time to time. Everything runs well under the watchful eye of its gracious owner Reem.“

Pool tables, games and activities for all the family. Or just sit and enjoy yourselves while being surrounded by a plethera of TV screens that cater for all tastes.Parking available on street and also on plentiful car parks to the rear and a short walk away.“

The fish and chips was as good as any I've had, and went down especially well with a Zombie Dust. “Went twice one in the evening for cocktails and once in the morning for coffee/breakfast. We had espresso martinis in the evening which were amazing the bar tender was great and the entire vibe of the place is chill. In the morning our service was great the ambiance was still good I think the only real issue is that they only had one barista working, who had to take orders and make both the food and drinks which take time, understandably so. I think they would benefit with having one or two more people work in the mornings at least during peak hours.“

This happy and welcoming spot was our all-time favorite within ten minutes. The meat loaf, with mashed, gravy and peas) was a real crowd pleaser at just $5 on Thursdays. The other patrons quickly became friends. And the staff was friendly, welcoming, efficient and funny beyond our wildest expectations. All around wonderful!“
