Great food, service, and view... High quality food that is different than what you'll find in KG.

This is a hidden gem in Dahlgren/King George. Limited opening hours, limited menu, quaint (read: small, not a lot of seating)....but man this was soooo good. And the view! Service is excellent (despite being somewhat understaffed), ambiance is, well, see the picture...spectacular. The blackened shrimp salad is oh so very good. Only downside: asked for iced tea. It came in a bottle, and it wasn't very good. Next time I guess I'll get a soda or just water.

The food was so delicious and fresh. The crab cakes were the best I've had in a long time (actually moist instead of overcooked). The servers were attentive even though they got really busy. I'm definitely coming back to try the fish sandwich when it's available.
3.6 overall. A low-key hidden gem on a quiet creek. The setting definitely lends itself to a nice spot for lunch or dinner on a summer day- especially with the outdoor seating - although more picnic tables would easily fit in the yard. The hostess let us know at the start that staff was shorthanded. We appreciated the heads-up. Paninis were nicely grilled and filled. The crab cakes were definitely the most mushy(not at all firm) that we have ever had but the portion size was quite generous. We will return b/c of the setting and the nice, but harried, staff.
Had my sister's bridal shower here last weekend and it exceeded my expectations. The staff was very gracious and accommodating with all our requests, and the bride was very happy. I ordered the crab cake sandwich for my meal and it was delicious and well made. Will come here again.
I ordered a baked ham sandwich that was supposed to have sourdough bread. The ham was regular ham and the bread was white. They have coffee but no brown sugar. Great location, friendly customer service but lack of attention with the

Was well worth the 40 minute trip from our home to enjoy lunch here. Loved the scenic views of the water and marina, the decor, the friendly service, and most of all the crab and corn chowder. We will be back!

Can’t believe I’ve worked in Dahlgren for 20+ years and never been here! Went with my team at work and had lunch. It was terrific! Had a rockfish sandwich which was the special - so big and so good! Friendly people and Beautiful view of the water too.

Great lunch with local specials off the boat. Attached marina and boat ramp with a bar for weekend floats and drinks at the end. Where Dahlgren locals go to relax and celebrate.

This place is fantastic. It’s exquisitely designed and I love it. The waitresses are fantastic, and I feel at home. The service has made me increase my standards for every other restaurant I visit now. And the food is divine in taste and quality almost like having a boat lunch but fancier.
