We asked where to get a great burger while we were at the ski shop and Melt was recommended. So happy with this rec! The menu was a bit overwhelming for us first-timers so we stuck with the basics - a hamburger for my partner and cheeseburger for me. Perfectly cooked patty as requested, fresh buns, fresh condiments. We requested their sauce on the side since we weren’t sure we’d like it. It wasn’t bad but we still preferred ketchup and yellow mustard which was available. Fries were great! They’re on the skinnier side which I prefer over thicker cuts. The place was packed on a Friday for lunch but the burgers don’t take long to come out and turnover is fast. Will definitely be back to try the other burgers on the menu as well as the onion rings.

This place is off the charts great! A destination place for many of us near the beltway. Added plus is the owner is a sweetheart and cares a lot for local animal adoptions! Very prominent posters of dogs and cats that need a home!Parking: Full lot out front…Kid-friendliness: Whole family but seating is tight.

This place gets a lot of hype. A LOT. And having now tried, its true. This is one of the best burgers in Loudoun County. Its a very small restaurant in a strip mall, with limited tables both inside and out- and its cramped, you are practically sitting on top of the next table. Service was decent- the staff looked tired to be honest, which is understandable based on the sheer amount of traffic coming in. The burger is damn good. I went with the all-American burger and it was delicious. Perfectly cooked, with a horse radish sauce that wasn't overpowering. And its big, a seriously massive meal. The kids meals were equally huge, and came with fries and a drink. By fries, I mean an entire plate of fries- if you get a kids meal for one of your kids you likely don't need to get extra fries for yourself. Well worth a stop to try the hype for yourself.

Overall: 3.5 stars Good burger but definitely did not match the hype for being a top burger restaurant in the NOVA area. Also expensive (although the burger is large/filling). Expect to pay $25 for the burger, fries. Wouldn't go out of my way to come back here but it is still a good/solid burger. Food Quality: 4 stars Ordered The Diner 'Blue Plate' Special and MELT's ooey gooey Mac & Cheese. The burger was good but not amazing. Had better burgers elsewhere. Expensive ($16 for just the burger) although it is filling will all the toppings and larger burger patty. The buns on the burger were average. Mac & Cheese was a bit flavorless. Very cheesy and did taste fresh/from scratch. Service/Experience: 3 stars Average. Not great but not bad. Nothing to brag or complain about. Smaller restaurant/interior with relatively limited parking in the parking plaza (especially if it gets busy).
